We will focus on agape love or better known as unconditional love. Sometimes our family will mistake agape love for stupidity. When is enough good enough for the family? Should you sacrafice your own marraige and life as parents and siblings, to help other family members achieve their desires at the risk of losing your own desires for each other?
A native of Seattle, Vida Oliphant Sneed is the youngest of the five girls born to parents Clarence A. Oliphant and La Verna D. Jones Oliphant, both originally from Iowa. While growing up, Vida discovered these two truths: we all are created with a particular “bent” and our life’s assignment is to learn how to submit that “bent” to the Master’s hand. Based on Deuteronomy 6:5-9, Vida did submit and began her life-rewarding homeschool journey.
Vida graduated from high school at age 16 and attended the University of Washington for two years before transferring to University of Southern California where she graduated with a BA in English. She returned to Seattle to marry the love of her life, Steve Sneed and God blessed them with six children.
Vida received her Elementary Education Teaching Certificate and taught in the Seattle Public Schools for a very short time. The Lord redirected her course to homeschooling her then three children. This was a life-changing, will-bending journey of faith that culminated in 19 years of homeschooling all six children while providing care for other children the Lord sent along the way. Vida says, “For 19 years I quit every morning telling the Lord I can’t do this. It’s too hard for me. And He responded, ‘You’re right you can’t. Let me do it through you.’ And He did.”
Vida and Steve have four grandchildren and in their spare time spend quality time with family, travel, and are very active in their church and community. She currently serves as Co-Assistant Superintendent of the Christian Education Ministry at First A.M.E. Church in Seattle, Washington.

The Morrison Hotel® gallery is about people. Founded in 2001 by former record company executive and producer Peter Blachley, music industry professional Richard Horowitz, and music photographer Henry Diltz, The Morrison Hotel® Gallery, which represents world renowned photographers, has grown to become the place to purchase fine art music photography. As you view some of the most inspiring and iconic images of music and musicians photographed over the last fifty-plus years, think about the people who existed on both sides of the lens. The photographers had no idea what they were creating or how historic the imagery would become. It is a one-second click of the shutter that creates a timeless moment in our lives.
From a very early age Aaron has had a deep understanding and appreciation of photography. Not only has he been with Morrison Hotel Gallery for 10 years, but he has been instrumental in the curation of over a hundred shows here.
Aaron works hand and hand with each of the represented photographers to cultivate the emotional experience that the art deserves. He is closely involved with the overseas markets creating the same real time experience as if one was standing in the actual SOHO gallery space.
Before settling down in New York, Aaron was on the West Coast immersed in its diverse art scene. He now lives in Brooklyn with his wife.

Tuesday, on "The Family Meeting" It’s our time to talk. I have to tell you what kept me all night, the continuing saga of Kobe, the cat I babysit. Who’s really a THOT? What if you had to wear of how many babies and number of moms….ouch! Women too, hoping to land the one that’ll give you a ring….chances are thin but it can happen. WHY DO WOMEN FIGHT OVER A BUM, I MEAN BOY, NOT I MEAN A BOY IN A MAN’S BODY?? Yeah, that’s it!
For years we have heard victims of Domestic Violence say they are staying for the sake of the children. Truth is they're doing their children no favors and expose them to greater harm than they imagine. Join me and my guest Dr. Yvette Kanarick , Psychologist and Author on August 17th, as we discuss attachment and bonding, influences on the behaviors of victims and batterers and the implications of child victims of domestic violence in the long run. The number for the show is 713-955-0734.
