Join Scott as we discuss breaking healthy relationship cycles. One of the most important things that a person can do is understand their own value. Being in an abusive relationship can cause you to feel as though you do not understand yourself any longer. Addressing patterns which cause you to feel out of control is one of the first things that you can do in order to regain the proper perspective of your own life. This episode will discuss the many addictions that plague us on our spiritual journey and in life. We'll be focussed on healing those patterns that get in the way of our spiritual progression, and, in doing so, will remove obstacles to the miracles that await us. For the last several months, I've been conducting online classes for an energy healing method I call "Angels' Touch Therapy". These kind, loving "earth angels" will be joining me in sending angelic healing energy to all who seek it in this broadcast. During the class, we've seen so many healing miracles occur when this energy is evoked and used by those practiced and trained in it.
Addictions can take on many forms. The more obvious ones are excessive drinking, illegal drug use, gambling, smoking, but there are many more subtle things that get in our way, often in even more lasting ways. These can be overeating, overuse of pharmaceuticals, obsessive shopping. On a deeper level, an addiction to fear/negativity...to anger or finding something to be offended by...to poltiical argument and taking sides...to being "right" and not listening to any other views...to rigid religious views.
As we come to the holiday season, we can take a definitive steps to ask for these burdens to be lifted, then enter a new year with more hope and promise. Think about your patterns - whether you have regular joy, or what obstacles seem to repeatedly get in the way.
Lines will be open for on-air intuitive guidance from angels and spirit. Show duration will be up to 120 minutes.
Join us Tuesday evening at 5:30pm as we speak about a very important topic.Childhood obesity is much more than a cosmetic concern. The health consequences of childhood obesity include greater risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and other serious illnesses. The combination of these health effects and the dramatic increase in childhood obesity rates over the past three decades causes some experts to fear this may be the first generation of American children who will have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. (The Weight of the Nation)
What are the root causes of childhood affilications such as autism, chronic allergies, obesity, and other diseases? Are they environmentally-related? The result of genetically-modified foods, pesticides, or soil depletion? Is better nutrition the key to healing?
Scientists and health advocates are often at odds when it comes to looking at childhood illness, but most agree that there IS a problem that should be addressed.
In 2010, the Center for Disease Control announced that 1 in 110 children have autism. In just a few years, that number has increased to 1 in 68!
In addition, nearly 13% of kids in the US have some sort of developmental disability.
Add to this the increasing number of obese children and children with moderate to severe allergies and it's easy to question whether or not the healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry in this country is doing the right things to help our children get and stay healthy.
Dr. Renee Tocco joins Teresa to reveal some of the more controversial and startling theories about why so many children are suffering from these severe health issues, and what needs to be done to help them.
Health, Fitness and Wellbeing are three commonly heard and fort for prospects. It is believed that personal fitness is one of the keys to a long, happy and healthy life. Physical fitness certainly provides increased energy, vitality, strength and flexibility, which also improve an individual's mental fitness. An increased level of concentration is experienced, many people have more stamina and a greater readiness to meet life's challenges. These are achieved through consistent exercise and healthy life practices rather than through “quick fixes/fad diets.” Fitness is a result of personal congruence, respecting the value of the body, and the mind and body link. Listen to this segment of The NLP View Radio Show, as host, Donna Blinston, R.N. is joined by, Psychotherapist, Paul Andrew who is a Master Practitioner of NLP, clinical Hypnotherapist and Physical Training Instructor. Paul will discuss how he uses Psychotherapeutic patterns and NLP in Breakthrough Bootcamps and fitness sessions for ecological, holistic change.

Tip #1 -
Allow your child to play with her food.
Yes, you heard me right. Trying something new can be a challenge to small children. Allow them to use all their senses to explore new and sometimes strange fruits and vegetables. Let him hold the kiwi and treat it as a ball before you cut it and let him eat the green inside. Let her pretend to color with the celery stick before she tries it.
Tip #2 -
Encourage your child to be creative with their food.
Make fruit salad into a smiley face. Use two grape halves as the eyes, a strawberry half as the nose and an orange slice as the mouth. Try ants on a log. If the child is over two, place peanut butter on a banana that has been sliced lengthwise. Sprinkle raisins over the sticky peanut butter to represent the ants. You can also replace the banana with a celery stick.
Tip #3 -
Read stories to your children about food.
This age group loves to spend time listening to their parents read to them. Take advantage of this. Not only will this help their cognitive abilities but can also help them to try healthy foods.
Trying to introduce a protein rich egg, read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.
Oliver's Vegetables, Rabbit Food or any Veggie Tales book is great while introducing new vegetables.
Alligator Arrived with Apples or Oliver's Fruit Salad helps to get new fruit down. You may even want to play the game Hi, Ho Cherrio, too.
Wanting your little one to like whole grains, try If You Give A Pig A Pancake, If You Give A Moose A Muffin or The Little Red Hen.
