Nellita Love is a psychic card reader, twin flame, conscious childbirth educator, and blogger. Nellita has been a psychic since she was a child, and picked up her first deck of tarot cards at the age of 14. Nellita's journey to conscious childbirth began in 2008, after her last hospital birth, in which was not pleasant to her. After this time she researched childbirth, and came upon Unassisted Child birthing, she also became a trained doula.
Nelllita promotes unassisted childbirth, natural childbirth, and educated, informed childbirth. She has had 2 hospital births, and 2 unassisted childbirths. She is a firm believer in attachment parenting, co-sleeping, and breastfeeding, but most of all informed choice. She has attended 3 births other than her own. She believes that our children often communicate with us before they are born, sometimes even before they are conceived.
Nellita has the ability to communicate with children, born and unborn. She believes our dreams are the gateways to other worlds, and this is where our children will communicate with us the most.
Nellita is on her journey to becoming a midwife and counselor. She hopes to spread love, consciousness, and education to parents and parents to be worldwide. Blog: www.nellitalove.wordpress.com. You may also find her on Facebook: Nellita Love

Former obstetrician and childbirth pioneer Michel Odent argues that the aspect of human lifestyle that has been most profoundly changed in recent decades is the period of time surrounding the birth of a child. Since this formative time is considered critical in defining our species, Homo sapiens, fundamental changes in this area should herald significant evolution in regard to how babies are born. This, surely, should be at the heart of our discussions of the future, even above considerations of how humanity and planet earth interact.
This interview will prove to be thought provoking and eye opening. Join us live or listen to the archived recording. Live listeners can call in and ask our guest questions live.
Michel Odent, MD, has been in charge of the surgical unit and the maternity unit at the Pithiviers (France) state hospital (1962–1985) and is the founder of the Primal Health Research Centre (London). He is the author of the first articles in the medical literature about the initiation of lactation during the hour following birth and of the first article about use of birthing pools. He created the Primal Health Research Data Base
Today I will be joined by Executive Director, Michele Giordano and Director of Policy and Research, Nan Strauss of Choices in Childbirth. Last fall, CIC introduced an important piece of research. The Doula Report identifies the value of doula support in achieving critical improvements in maternity care in line with the priorities identified in the Affordable Care Act. The report examines the landscape of birth in NYC including health disparities based on race, ethnicity and income as well as challenges for doula work.
Choices in Childbirth is a non-profit organization focused on ensuring that all women have access to maternity care safe, healthy, equitable and empowering. Their mission is to promote evidence based, mother-friendly childbirth options through public education, consumer advocacy and pioneering policy reform. They seek to improve maternity care by providing the public, especially childbearing women and their families with the information necessary to make fully informed decisions relating to how, where and with whom they will give birth. www.choicesinchildbirth.org
In the second of this two part series, Nick & Joanna will talk about how hypnosis can be helpful to decrease stress in pregnancy, prepare and experiecne ease in childbirth, and continue to reduce stress in early motherhood. Part I focused on how Ayurveda views conception and pregnancy and how this conscious approach can benefit Mother and Baby. Find part I here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/kalyana/2015/08/12/pregnancy-childbirth-early-motherhood-an-ayurvedic-perspective
This is a very important and tender time for both Mother and Baby and hypnosis is a wonderful tool that can have tremendous benefits not only to the mind and emotions, but also to the physical body. In keeping with an Ayurvedic approach and focus on self care, hypnotherapy definitely has some practical and helpful benefits. It all boils down to self-care where the most important aspect is consciousness. Even before conception is planned, care should be taken that Mother and Father are in the best of health so that their creation can have the best start; not only being in good health physically but also within their relationship to provide a loving, joyful environment in which the child will learn and grow.
Learn also how hypnosis can help mom and baby have an easeful time in the birth process that reduces stress and pain so the use of pharmaceuticals can be reduced or eliminated.

August 20, 2015: This summer, the United States Women’s National Team clinched the World Cup trophy with a 5-2 win over Japan. As the team hoisted the trophy at the end of the match, forward Amy Rodriguez was in middle of it all, celebrating with her teammates.
Not only did this moment allow Amy to add a World Cup title along side her two Olympic gold medals, but it was made sweeter because of her well-earned return to the team roster after having a baby not quite two years earlier.
Pregnancy and childbirth are easy to take for granted, but it’s a physically challenging experience – even for an elite athlete. The changes to a woman’s body during and after a pregnancy can make any everyday activity a challenge, let alone playing a high endurance sport at a professional level.
In this episode of Move Forward Radio, Amy describes how she approached her pregnancy and her return to sport. While it may be comparatively high achieving, Amy’s story reflects a journey attempted by moms of any athletic ability who look to regain a physically active lifestyle after childbirth.

I’m still only one in a handful of birth videographers, but birth photography has gained popularity worldwide! Recent media exposure has helped bring awareness to our field, and numerous birth related documentaries have also changed the way people think of childbirth. (i.e. Birthing Into Being, The Business of Being Born, Orgasmic Birth, Birth Day etc.) The times they are a changing, and in today’s world of instant digital gratification and documentation of every personal or world event – professional Birth Videography has an important place. It’s a priceless gift that will be cherished for years and possibly generations to come
Our culture is changing. In the old days, a woman had no rights that institutions were bound to respect, unless she had a husband. Today, women are expected to achieve higher education degrees, maintain their own credit rating, purchase their own cars. Many women are very independent, even to the point where some may say,"I don't need a man." Women are even having children as single mothers and never marrying the man. Some men say, "I didn't want to be a father, she had the baby anyway, so I'm not responsible." So they decide not to be involved. But what about when the man wants the child and the woman decides to terminate a pregnancy? Today we examine the joint decision of childbirth.
