What a year it was for the Chicago Bears...& I don't mean that in a good way by any stretch of imagination. The team came of a 5-11 season in 2014, their first double-digit loss season since producing the exact same record just 10 years prior. & as a result, changes had to be made, & it started in the front office. General manager Phil Emery...gone. Director of pro personnel Kevin Turks...gone. & of course head coach Marc Trestman...gone as well, along with offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer. Quarterbacks coach Matt Canavaugh's contract was not retained by the organization as well. Roster changes include the departures of wide receiver Brandon Marshall, cornerback Charles Tillman (who missed the majority of 2014 due to injury), safety Chris Conte, defensive tackle Stephen Paea, safety Anthony Walters, & center Roberto Garza...just to name a few. New head coach John Foz, who had taken his two previous coached teams the Broncos & Panthers to Super Bowls, is expected to bring a fresh new attitude. & what about quarterback Jay Cutler? The guy was almost traded to the Tennessee Titans & still possess a lof of money in his current deal. What will become of the Bears going forward in 2015?? Tune in to a new episode of The Rocket Sports Breakdown Thursday May 21st @ 6:30pm to find out. For 30 minutes, Rocket will discuss the Bears & their 2015 offseason & more. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.
The Cubs took 2 out of 3 against the Rockies, thanks to a dominant performance on the mound from Jon Lester. As they head to Milwaukee for a 4 game series vs the Brewers, their bats and bullpen still need help. With the trade deadline one day away, other teams are making moves while the Cubs stand pat.
The Bears began training camp today hoping to build on the chemistry that old teammates and new built during minicamps and OTAs. Can John Fox unite this ragtag group and bring them back to Soldier Field ready to surprise the NFL?
Tonight I'll also begin taking a closer look at the NFC North rivals, starting with the Minnesota Vikings. What can we expect from the purple and gold in 2015?

As the MLB trade deadline approaches, where do the Cubs need the most help, and where might they find it? As the Bears begin training camp later this week, their media and fans have varying opinions on how many wins this team can muster in 2015. Vegas has their over/under at 7 wins.
