IMMUNE HEALTH SERIES:
While there is no “cure” for the over 100 known types of cancer, there are many different treatments available, including chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.
Increasing numbers of cancer patients are seeking caner treatments and treatment recovery modalities that are now included in the category of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). and at Immune Recover and Wellness Clinic we
CAM therapies are commonly used to:
empower patients by providing them with options and information they can use to take a personal interest and play in important role in their own care and recovery;
help patients cope with the nausea, pain and fatigue associated with conventional cancer treatments;
give patients a means by which they can manage the stress and emotional trauma often caused by a cancer diagnosis and resulting treatments;
assist patients in discovering their optimal levels of health, so that their bodies are best equipped to heal. Listen in on this interesting episode as Bobbie talks about the alternative chemotherapy recovery and revitalization treatments available to you.
Chemotherapy given for cancer–or other conditions, such as autoimmune diseases–can, unfortunately, cause nerve damage (neuropathy).
Patients may or may not develop neuropathy based on which medications they are taking. Platinum-based chemotherapies in particular will usually cause neuropathy. Patients who undergo hormone or radiation therapy in addition to chemotherapy also have a high chance of developing peripheral neuropathy.
Symptoms of chemotherapy neuropathy include tingling, numbness, and burning, usually in the hands, feet, and legs. The good news is, a neurostimulator is a drug-free alternative that can actually be used during chemotherapy. Other options light therapies such as include Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and LED Therapy. Manual therapies such as massage and spinal and joint manipulation are also crucial. Work with your team of medical professionals to find out which combination of these work best for you.

Tune in for an informative discussion with Dr. Barbara Biller, Veterinarian and Assistant Professor of Oncology at Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center
The primary focus of Dr. Biller’s research is on the interactions between the anti-tumor immune response and metronomic chemotherapy. Recently she completed a study for Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) in which she evaluated metronomic chemotherapy treatment on dogs with soft-tissue sarcoma.
During the study, it was Dr. Biller’s mission to learn more specifics on how to treat dogs using metronomics. She says:
“Even though veterinarians have been using metronomic chemotherapy on patients, we have been guessing on important factors like what drugs we should use, what dose is needed and at what intervals we should treat the patient. We hope to determine some of those factors.”
Dr. Biller is also involved in a number of collaborative studies with investigators at the University of Colorado Cancer Center and the Garden State Cancer Center evaluating immunotherapies in dogs with lymphoma and brain tumors.

Insulin Potentiation Therapy is an alternative medical procedure used to treat cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases. Developed and researched for over 80 years, IPT works on curing the body without damaging the body’s natural defenses. Unlike traditional chemotherapy, it does not leave the body in a weakened condition, defenseless and unable to undergo the deep healing process necessary for complete recovery.
It started with the first Garcia, Donato Perez, Sr. a medical doctor and not in the best of health. He suffered from anemia and malnutrition for a number of years, ignoring his own health to care for the many medical needs of his patients. Until his condition affected his profession when he became sluggish and started losing weight due to loss of appetite and severe gastrointestinal problems. He began to use IPT and within weeks was feeling better and regained his strength. He began to explore how IPT could treat other chronic conditions and most importantly, how it could be used as a treatment for Cancer.
We have the distinct pleasure of interviewing Dr. Donato Perez Garcia, Jr. a third generation medical doctor who specializes in IPT. This treatment was invented by his grandfather and then developed by his Father. He has applied over 26,000 treatments to patients worldwide over a span of 25 years.
This week on The Ndustry... Hosts Akia Uwanda and Nicole Lester talk with a remarkable woman and notable actress, Lourdes Colon!
Lourdes has made a notable impression as a versatile actress. This statuesque Emmy nominated beauty starred in the CBS’ hit series Without A Trace, by playing Anna Rodriguez. She was the host on the TV show series "The Movie Time Showcase" on The Omni Broadcasting Network. She also appeared on The District, the TV series The Women of Brewster Place, and films like The Kiss, Blood Oranges, Time Served, A Fine Line, The Killer Within, Expandable, and Amor Brujo. She was a remarkable working actress until she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which led her through her battle with cancer. Being holistic herself, she wanted to try a unconventional method of fighting cancer that didn’t require radiation or chemotherapy, so she created a her own unique option called “Option C.” She and her husband documented her whole emotional process and called it Create Option c: My Journey Through Cancer. Through donations, she was able to afford an holistic center that helps cancer patients battle this horrendous disease through natural medicine, however her journey was far from easy.
Lourdes felt that the current system for treating cancer was flawed and too harsh on the human body that it does more harm than good. After watching the people she cared most about in her life disintegrate before her eyes, she became an advocate for her option, because she survived cancer by implementing her own process. With the help of Esai Morales, Lourdes is able to spread her news globally through her documentary.
