Chemotherapy given for cancer–or other conditions, such as autoimmune diseases–can, unfortunately, cause nerve damage (neuropathy).
Patients may or may not develop neuropathy based on which medications they are taking. Platinum-based chemotherapies in particular will usually cause neuropathy. Patients who undergo hormone or radiation therapy in addition to chemotherapy also have a high chance of developing peripheral neuropathy.
Symptoms of chemotherapy neuropathy include tingling, numbness, and burning, usually in the hands, feet, and legs. The good news is, a neurostimulator is a drug-free alternative that can actually be used during chemotherapy. Other options light therapies such as include Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and LED Therapy. Manual therapies such as massage and spinal and joint manipulation are also crucial. Work with your team of medical professionals to find out which combination of these work best for you.

Tune in for an informative discussion with Dr. Barbara Biller, Veterinarian and Assistant Professor of Oncology at Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center
The primary focus of Dr. Biller’s research is on the interactions between the anti-tumor immune response and metronomic chemotherapy. Recently she completed a study for Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) in which she evaluated metronomic chemotherapy treatment on dogs with soft-tissue sarcoma.
During the study, it was Dr. Biller’s mission to learn more specifics on how to treat dogs using metronomics. She says:
“Even though veterinarians have been using metronomic chemotherapy on patients, we have been guessing on important factors like what drugs we should use, what dose is needed and at what intervals we should treat the patient. We hope to determine some of those factors.”
Dr. Biller is also involved in a number of collaborative studies with investigators at the University of Colorado Cancer Center and the Garden State Cancer Center evaluating immunotherapies in dogs with lymphoma and brain tumors.

It typically takes 7-10 years for cells to become mutated enough to be diagnosed as cancerous. Based on Western Medicine standards, this classifies it as a Chronic Condition. So, why the big rush, fear, and fatalism associated with cancer? Simply, it's because we're habituated into this response. If you simply look at the cancer industry size, it's a VERY profitable business model. Fear sells in medical. Cancer is not a death sentence. It's the result of stress, internal congestion, poor metabolism, anemic conditions, hormonal instabilities, etc. Let us together reclassify this all too common problem, as it has left the realm of "I have a friend whose mom died of cancer", to "My sister, my friend, and 2 grandparents all had cancer." Additionally, we want you to know how to navigate the emotional roller coaster this journey is, giving you the skills to handle it gracefully, without entering crisis mode. However you choose to heal, if you or someone you love is experiencing cancer, let's get some tools together for the journey. Take your time and allow it to unfold. You may be surprised at the talents you have uncovered once it is all over.
Cancer seems to have either affected us personally or atleast someone that we know like a friend or family member. Me personally, I just learned that a good girlfriend of mines was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This is my first time actually knowing someone that I am close with, be diagnosed with cancer. You always hear about it from other person but when it hits close to home it becomes more of a sensitive matter. I wanted to do a show for more personal reasons so that I can find out what are the changes that a person goes through with cancer, the treatments such as chemo, what are the side effects of chemo and the road after one is cancer free! Phone lines will be opened at (347) 855-8637. Show starts at 7pm EST. I would love to hear from my listeners especially if you have battled cancer or know someone who is battling cancer.

This week, I will be discussing natural cancer therapies with three experts in the field. You will find out what the most potent and well-proven strategies for preventing and treating cancer are. You do have alternatives to barbaric procedures like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Tune in to find out more!
Ty Bollinger is a CPA, health freedom advocate, cancer researcher, former competitive bodybuilder, and author of the best-selling book Cancer – Step Outside the Box. After losing several family members to cancer (including his mother and father), Ty refused to accept the notion that chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery were the most effective treatments available for cancer patients. He began a quest to learn all he possibly could about alternative cancer treatments and the medical industry. What he uncovered was shocking. There is ample evidence to support the allegation that the “war on cancer” is largely a fraud and that multinational pharmaceutical companies are “running the show.” Most importantly, Ty Bollinger is a committed Christian, a devoted husband, and the father of three wonderful children. His website is www.CancerTruth.net.

The Mission Is Remission:
Pat Williams' book is filled with encouragement, insight and realistic hope. If you are battling cancer, or know someone who is, this book is a must-read.
Pat Williams’ world changed in January, 2011 when his doctor completed his physical with the words, “There’s something in your blood work we’re not sure about.” Pat was diagnosed with a rare and incurable blood cancer, multiple myeloma.
As one of the millions of people to have experienced cancer, Pat first asked “Why me?” After calling on his faith, his family and his fighting spirit, Pat asked, “Why not me?” Williams’ mantra became "The mission is remission." After rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell treatment, he succeeded in the fight of his life: the myeloma can no longer be detected in his body.
In THE MISSION IS REMISSION, Williams shares his story and the six essential healing factors that helped him win his battle.
Basketball hall-of-famer Pat Williams is the founder and senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
Williams is the author of over 85 books. He and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four nations.

Marika Hamilton, mother of two and life long entrepreneur, was shocked to receive a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. With no risk factors to speak of and no family history, and already what she considered a healthy lifestyle, Marika knew intuitively that there must be more to attaining and maintaining great health.
After having the initial surgery, Marika made the decision to decline conventional treatment. She said No to Chemo, Radiation and Hormone therapy.
Taking her health into her own hands, Marika has become an authority on her own health and her passion is to help guide others to not only taking action, but responsibility for their own health.
