Some very smart journalists and sports talk radio hosts have been downright dismissive of the possibility of LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. What part of "unrestricted free agent" did they not get?
The LeBron story is front and center today because of the possibility that he might return to the Cavs.
A plugged in source told me he believes that chances of Decision II being known as Redemption Night are about 75 percent. Naturally, this has folks in Miami in disbelief and denial, and folks in Cleveland in a different stage of disbelief. They are so snakebitten in Cleveland, they don't want to believe it could happen because of the chance that they'll end up being let down. They are fatalistic in Cleveland, in case you hadn't heard.
But the fact remains that a James/Cavs reunion is quite possible, as I discussed in this interview with Joe Llull, Anthony Lima and Dustin Fox on 92.3-The Fan in Cleveland.
Joel Embiid of Kansas has a broken foot and needs surgery. And now that piece of news has thrown everyone's draft projections into disarray.
Embiid was listed at No. 1 in Mock Draft 4.0 on www.sheridanhoops.com, but he won't be at the top in the next edition. So does that mean the Cavs will not draft him? Perhaps not.
The Cavs are now looking at trading down a couple of spots, believing that Embiid will still be available. And with the Philadelphia 76ers coveting Andrew Wiggins, it becomes a question of whether they'd be willing to trade up from No. 3 to No. 1 -- a move that would probably cost them Thaddeus Young.
The Utah Jazz also are discussing a deal with the Cavs that would send Derrick Favors and the No. 5 pick to Cleveland for the No. 1 pick, which the Jazz would use to select Jabari Parker.
The latest news of Embiid, plus much more infor on next week's draft, comes from draft guru Joe Kotoch in this interview with 1280TheZone in Salt Lake City.
We're back at it again tonight!
-We will discuss the NBA Draft Lottery. The Cleveland Cavaliers once again lands the top pick in the NBA Draft. Will they make the "right" selection this time around? Should they draft Andrew Wiggins or Joel Embiid?
- We will discuss whether or not the Cavaliers will try to lure Lebron James to come back. Would it be a good decision for Lebron to return to Cleveland?
- Should the Cavs trade their first pick for Kevin Love?
- We will discuss whether or not college players should have to stay in school for two years? Should they be able to come out of high school again?
- OKC faces San Antonio tonight, could potentially go down 0-2, is tonight a must win?
- The Pacers squander an opportunity to go up 2-0 last night, did they miss their chance to win the series?
- We will give our picks and predictions for the NBA Finals

Like most people, I was a skeptic during the season when folks talked about LeBron James returning to the Cavs next season after he opts out of his contract with Miami and becomes an unrestricted free agent. It just seemed too absurd of a notion.
But I am starting to believe that the possibility exists, however remote.
Just for kicks, let's throw out a few "What ifs ..."
What if the Miami Heat lose to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals? Or lose to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
The Heat will not be considered a dynasty, because you need three consecutive championships to make it into the dynasty category. The Big Three will have the opportunity to return, but what if one of them wants to make it a four-year chapter of his career, then move on to the next big thing.
What if LeBron misses the hero worship that embodied his time in Akron and Cleveland? What if he wants to be loved again the way he once was?
What if the Cavs are willing to give up the No. 1 pick in the draft to acquire Kevin Love prior to LeBron's free agency on July 1? What if playing with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love is appealing to LeBron?
Just a few things to think about, as I discussed in this interview on the Bill and Grant Show on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C.
Only one Web site, my Web site, is reporting that LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. There is some skepticism out there, which is only natural.
When the mainstream media is not reporting something as fact, people have their doubts. And I am OK with that.
But I am standing behind my story, which I did this morning on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland on the Kiley & Booms show.
This interview got a little testy, which also is OK for me. I have thick skin.
Join us for Tonight's postgame wrapup of the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers matchup on Friday night. We will run down the stats and see if Kyle Korver broke the consecutive game 3 point streak of 89 games. Hawks fans get your calls in @ (619)393-2900!
Tonight on Sports Talk with Bryan Nolen, he is coming home, guys! Lebron James will be taking his talents back to the Cavs and will leave the Miami Heat after 4 seasons. What are your thoughts on it? Give us a call! We will also discuss how the Cavs as well as the Heat, will do next season, other deals that were made today and more! We are LIVE folks! You cannot miss the show!
All signs point to Lebron leaving between the Cavs moving players and money left and right, trucks in front of Lebrons house, and numerous "sources" saying this and that. Melo is going back to the Knicks so moves will happen fast and quick. Call in to talk about the recent moves. How will this affect the Atlanta Hawks??? Still not sure, but in the end, the East will yet again be changed and this time the odds will be in our favor.
