Author Katherine Hall Page will take center stage as I interview her and talk about her best selling mystery novel: Body in the Birches. Katherine is the author and creator of the Faith Fairchild mysteries and will be talking about how she created this character and how she adds a touch of her own special flavor or recipes to each book. So join me in the chat room for the discussion. Fran Lewis: Host and editor of MJ Magazine.
Author Mark Rubenstein takes the spotlight and will be joining me to discuss his latest release: Lover's Tango. What happens when a best selling author is accused of overdosing his wife with a blood thinner? What happens is the unthinkable as author Mark Rubenstein provides much food for thought and gives readers a fast paced, suspense filled novel that will keep you tangoing until you reach the very last page and the surprise ending. I am your host Fran Lewis: Welcome to Literary Viewpoints with Fran Lewis.
The healing needs of our spirit go largely unaddressed by body work, traditional medicine and sometimes even our spiritual path. We look to heal the body, or our situations, but in a lot of cases, it is something deeper that is out of alignment. Our ancestors, or our own helping spirits may be calling us through illness, stress or financial difficulty to take a deeper look inside. What might be needed is medicine for the soul. By responding to the call of our ancestral spirits we receive answers, direction and guidance. Journeywork and Intuitive Guidance allow us to visit the realm of spirit to receive answers that don't normally occur to us, but are just as important to the way our bodies process as cellular biology. And heal our situations a lot faster.
After witnessing first hand the transition of so many souls on 9/11, as well as the loss in her community, Cathy realized that a spiritual revolution was necessary to restore peace in the world. For something this awful to happen, we must be very disconnected at our roots.
She founded the Institute for Sacred Activism with Andrew Harvey and was part of the Global Leadership Initiative with Deepak Chopra. Internally, she rediscovered her life long Mediumship ability, her shamanic roots, and started addressing her own shadow. She began writing about what was happening in the world from a spiritual viewpoint.
The insights she gained changed her changed her outlook forever. As she walked through many difficult experiences, Cathy was led to not only believe in and be healed by spirit, but to become it’s representative in the world through her work at the UN.
She has one simple mission – to heal our brokenness (grief and loss) through the power of spirit, and restore our connection to ourselves, and the earth.

8:15 Clarence Middleton-Black Bike Week
Atlantic Beach is American's only Black Owned Beach! In 1980 when black motorcyclist were not welcome at Myrtle Beach's white only Harley Davidson Rally and Atlantic beach was under attack by other surrounding cities: A Motorcycle Club named the Carolina Knight Rider created the Atlantic Beach Bike Fest for two purposes:
1). To Economically Empower Atlantic Beach
2). To Give Black Bikers a Place where they can be welcomed despite the Segregated Harley Rally "which was in its 40th year"
Now the Media only portrays the negative side of the event. the Local media "and sometimes national media" literally hunt for any negative narrative they can find to portray the even as negative, but the Event focus's around supporting a Black Owned Beach with many Black owned business that depend on the revenue the event brings in yearly. and The Event has been one of the key factors keeping Atlantic Beach from being Incorporated by its Surrounding White Cities.

In this show I found a recording of NFL great Ray Lewis talking to some young basketball students about having the GRIND every single day. Here are some other words of wisdom from Ray Lewis:
“Every day of my life, I’m trying to find a different way to get better.”
“Nobody’s as serious about health and fitness as me, and staying fit is my top priority.”
“What makes you grind? You have to always be chasing something.”
“In any war, you put your back to mine, I put my back to yours, and let’s do what we gotta do.”
“You’ve got to go out and show them that I’m a different creature now, then I was five minutes ago, cause I’m pissed off for greatness. Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre.”
“My pain is my badge of honor.”
“The greatest opportunity in the world is found here today… We already know what yesterday has got for us. It’s already gone. Tomorrow, too far away. What about right now!”
“I prepare so no one can take what is mine, no one can replace my mind, my heart.”
“You take five fingers. Individually, I can pin any one of them, but if I pin them together (makes a fist), it’s damn near impossible to turn this around.”
“You have to get back to being kids again. You can’t never get tired. I have something burning inside me. I am a kid all over again.”
“The day you think you can beat me, show me. Then move on to the next challenge.”
“All I know is grind.”
“In any war who pulls their general out? No one.”

Last summer, we ran a post on SheridanHoops.com detailing which players received the biggest raises in salary from the previous year. The list was made up of three types of players.
A. Players who received maximum salary deals as their second contracts, such as DeMarcus Cousins.
B. Former first-round picks who received sizable contract extensions, although not necessarily max deals, such as Larry Sanders.
C. Second-round picks who had been making near league minimum and signed new deals, such as Lance Stephenson.
The latter category has some candidates this year as well. Among them are forwards Draymond Green of Golden State, Jae Crowder of Boston and Khris Middleton of Milwaukee.
We've already explained how Middleton's improvement over the last two years and the stratospheric leap made by the Bucks from the worst team in the league to a playoff team could land the restricted free agent a contract averaging eight figures.
But given that Middleton doesn't turn 24 until August, appears to have a ways to go before reaching his ceiling and the huge increase in the salary cap coming in 2016, is it possible that he receives a maximum contract offer this summer, either from the Bucks or another team?
And can the Bucks - who have a dicey new arena issue on their hands - go the max on Middleton, with extensions due down the road for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Carter-Williams and Jabari Parker?
Chris Bernucca of SheridanHoops.com answered those questions and others about an important offseason for the Bucks with Greg Matzek of WTMJ-AM in Milwaukee.

Viki Winterton interviews Dr. Pam Middleton!
Pam Middleton is a medical doctor specializing in integrative pediatrics. Her pediatric patients refer to her as “Dr. Pam.” She has been practicing medicine since 1995.
Several years ago, Dr. Pam was introduced to alternative medicine by a brilliant naturopathic physician, who then became her mentor. This began paradigm shifts that lead her to integrate her traditional medical training with alternative therapies so that she could provide patients with “the best of both worlds.”
Dr. Pam received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.
She received a Diploma in Clinical Homeopathy from the CEDH, certification in Practical Applied Nutrition from the School of Nutritional Science, certification as a GAPS™ Practitioner and has attended numerous seminars for alternative medical therapies and procedures.
