Cindy Hyde Live: Encouraging You to Step Up and Step Out
Listening to this program will encourage you to step out and begin doing what the Lord is calling you to do. Even if you do not know exactly what that is you can still do something. The more you do for the Lord the more He will assign you to do. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Always remember that. Obey what you know to do.
Join us for a lively talk about real Christianity with real women who live real lives. This episode deals with lonliness and the feeling of being alone even when you are with someone.
May 25, 2015...every day on the last Monday in May, U.S. citizens observe MEMORIAL DAY, a holiday which honors all those who have died in military service to our country. Originally called Decoration Day, Memorial Day began as a wy to commemorate soldiers who died in the Civil War in service to the Union Army. It became Memorial Day after the first World War.
Just how Memorial Day began is not known for certain, but many believe it started in Charleston in 1865 when thousands of freed slaves and Union Officers gathered at a race track to celebrate the Civil War Victory and honor those who gave their lives for the Union Cause.
Government plus others fly the flag...etc.
The last Monday in May is Memorial Day and to many it marks the beginning of summer. It features parades, BBQs and other activities that cause many to forget the purpose of the day.
Memorial Day, originally Decoration Day, began during the Civil War with the decoration of the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the conflict. In the subsequent 150-plus years, the day has been expanded to include all of our wars and conflicts.
Let us not forget that Memorial Day is the day where we all pause and remember the brave men and women who put on the uniform of our armed forces, who put themselves in harms way so that we could sleep safely in our homes at night, and who died in the service of our nation.
On Monday, May 25, please take a minute out of your day to remember all of the fallen soldiers who paid a price that we can never fully repay.
Cindy Hyde interviews Darren Canning from Canada.
"Darren is a revival preacher who has a heart to see people connect to the father with a true heart of intimacy. He believes that when people touch the face of God they are undone and changed. They are like Saul, who became Paul, on the road to Damascus. He was not expecting a visitation from Jesus but that is what he received. Darren expects this to occur in the lives of those he meets and believes it is what is needed to see lasting change come to the hearts of people. He travels throughout the globe seeing revival fire spread wherever he goes." Retrieved from http://www.darrencanning.org/. Please visit his website and watch his video.
