Join Carolyn Bennett Sullivan as she speaks with Carissa Hannigan from Rebelle Roadmap Tribe. Carissa created Rebelle Roadmap with the mission to empower women in finding their passion, voice, leadership and courage through community. Her coaching experience started with creating and managing an indoor soccer team in college. The current coaching schools didn't yet exist so she made her own coaching program within her psychology degree. Eventually the majority of the women were offered non-compete scholarships to the first women's NCAA soccer team at the University of Oklahoma. For her recruiting and coaching efforts, the university granted her a scholarship to complete her studies. Later, in her first ever tennis tournament final match, she coached her playing partner through a complete meltdown of the nerves to come from behind in dramatic fashion.
Part mad scientist, Carissa experimented working with online and local San Francisco Bay Area clients in a number of niches over the years, including website design, marketing and advertising, professional organizing and much more. She also has training in community creation, dynamics and leadership. In 2011, she taught a Motivational Life and Business Coaching program at API Wellness in San Francisco. In 2012, she co-lead Skillshare Business Coaching classes on Social Media, Branding, Marketing, Messaging and more at Wix Lounge SF.
"My uncommon approach to live, love and business is for the outside the box thinkers, dreamers, intuitives, and all those who want to have true freedom…to experiment, create, explore, go on adventures, be expressive, and have a home to share these experiences. Someone who understands, who gets you. Now I put my creativity and humor into making Rebelle Roadmap Tribe a fun playground for delving into your dreams."

This week we welcome Kids Protecting Kids founder Carissa Miller to the show.
Carissa went from a lonely, sad little girl covered in shame, who started cutting herself at age 11, with thoughts of suicide; to someone who has watched her life transform right before her eyes.
She says if she can do it, anyone can, they only need love, support and encouragement. and she will share her own story of abuse and what she did to not only come through it and thrive but where she found the inspiration to help others through her organization.
That is where she wants to help fill in some voids and help children rebuild their lives like her mom and others helped her rebuild her own.
Carissa feels that having a summer camp dedicated to CSA survivors would be a wonderful way to help children rebuild their lives and help them understand they are not alone.
All they need to do is take the first step and her organization will walk with them.
Carissa says "It is a very hard journey, but one worth fighting for, because you are fighting for your life"

He may have been a horrible person. He may have spewed hatred and bigotry. He may have been one of the worst people ever. Fred Phelps was still better than god.
Why am I thankful for the Westboro Baptist Church? Why do I feel I owe a sincere debt of gratitude to the Phelps clan? What the hell is wrong with me?
Tune in to find out. Plus your calls.
Fred Phelps, reviled (and excommunicated) pastor of Westboro Baptist Church, built his life upon a foundation of hatred: the protests of military funerals, the condemnation of homosexuals, professed gratitude to God for terrorist attacks, and much more.
Recent news reports of Fred Phelps' death have again brought his name and face to worldwide attention, prompted by a public statement from his own son, Nathan, who escaped Wesboro and has become a champion of human rights in the face of his father's hatred.
In this podcast, we talk to Nathen Phelps. About his father. About his father's death. About the celebratory public response. About the Westboro legacy. And about the often conflicted feelings of a father's son at a time when he is denied access, or should he choose it, the opportunity to say "goodbye."

The Hagmann & Hagmann Report provides viewers and listeners information about current events and historical topics that transcend the political right-left paradigm and delve into the real issues behind the sugar-coated news. This unique, father-son detective duo uses their investigative abilities and resources to aggressively research and report on issues left untouched by the corporate media. The show addresses many issues once considered mere fodder for “conspiracy theorists,” tracing their roots from the various events that created them through the fabric of history to the present day.
The program digs deep into current topics that include questions about who is really running America, who is really benefiting from the massive financial bailouts, who and what is behind controversial legislation such as the NDAA, SOPA, Agenda 21, and other issues that are rarely addressed with focus, clarity and accuracy. We are a listener supported show and those who are able to do so can donate here
Certain pivotal events that changed the course of U.S. and world history are also subjected to investigative scrutiny, from the start of the Federal Reserve, to the attacks of 9/11 and events taking place through the various presidential administrations.
