Canelo vs Golovkin Is Canelo serious?

    in Sports

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is clearly the future of big time boxing. The Mexican superstar has already cemented himself as a top draw within the sport, and with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao on their way out of the sport, Canelo is in position as the youngest of the cash cows with the weight of boxing relevancy on his shoulders.

We could have a less desirable option to represent boxing’s biggest stage in the coming years, and while Canelo might not be the “pound for pound” technical expert that kingpin Mayweather is, he has proven that he is willing to take on the toughest challenges.

If you ask an unbiased fight fan about the most significant issue facing boxing’s biggest stage they will say that the lack of competitiveness in Mayweather main events and his choice of opponents over the years is a key factor in his overall appeal and the overall appeal of boxing as a whole.
With Canelo at the helm, he could change the very nature of big time boxing by taking on the most worthy challengers, despite their mainstream appeal.

And if you believe Oscar De La Hoya, then that could very well be the case in Canelo’s next fight.
“Canelo is looking to fight in May of next year, so nothing is being negotiated now, we’re several months away. We’re looking to see who he’s going to fight, so hopefully we can start that very soon. Canelo is telling me he wants to fight ‘GGG,’ he wants to fight whoever’s out there.

Margie Lopez Read, Donation art  rebroadcast

Margie Lopez Read, artist and donating all the proceeds of her art

Margie Lopez Read paintings, and or prints of paintings are traded for a check made out to a worthwhile organization that the buyer and Margie agree upon.

I had the sheer joy to be part of the original show that Armando Sanchez did on his network I learned so much that I had to invite onto to my show.

I found the idea of doing incredible artwork and then donating the purchase price back to non-profit, to be incredibly intriguing

I did a bit of research on her web site www.margies-art.com and Facebook:  Donation Art, and discovering such art work as, Rosa-Big Sweetness and Sutter Buttes (both I could feel connection to) makes me believe this will be a great show and I really look forward to it

"Art is life and not worth much unless it helps make the world just a little bit better in one way or another."

Art has been important to Margie her whole life, influenced in large part by her grandmother Margie Cooper, who was an accomplished painter.

She states, "All of that is fun, but I want my art to do more. You see, I believe that art is at its best when it teaches, records a memory, tells a story, or provokes thought.  It is better still if it can be used to raise funds for worthwhile non-profit programs that improve the condition of our world." and” Please feel good about what you have done to make the world a better place and have joyous and peaceful times during this holiday season."

Thanks to Armando Sanchez whose description I copied and who is also sponsoring this show along with Sedano media group

    Crystal Nicole live on MRTR

    in Pop Culture

    Christmas Special!

Hosts: Jamel, Derrick Dwayne and Flash Gotti

    #MyRealTalkRadio Interviews Singer/Songwriter: Crystal Nicole

If her spirit was the impetus responsible for guiding her career, Crystal Nicole would have long ago been an international superstar among the likes of your favorite entertainer. Blessed with an uncanny ability to compose award winning music, her track record as a songwriter is nothing short of iconic – boasting chart-topping hits for Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Monica, and Natasha Bedingfield – and additional writing credits on records for artists such as Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Lopez, among others.

Slated for a fall 2015 release, I Am Crystal Nicole, is led by the bouncy, reggae friendly “I Don’t Belong To You,” produced by Jamaal Pompey, which rejects the very stereotypes and people, that attempted to define her over the years. Throughout the track, the Decatur, GA bred native derails the power of words such as “stupid” and “ugly,” reclaiming her own happiness and simultaneously sets a definitive tone for the album.

“My music is an open book,” she discloses. “I call it an audio testimony. All the stuff that people would normally try to hide, I want to talk about that. I want to be completely transparent so that at the end of the day when this album is said and done, it screams,

    I Am Crystal Nicole.”

  • Adonis “Superman” Stevenson vs Dmitry “The Hunter” Sukhotsky Review

    in Sports

Adonis Stevenson (25-1, KOs 21) fought a very measured fight in the early stages of the fight, but managed to score a devastating knockout victory against Dmitry Sukhotsky (22-3, KOs 16).

Stevenson being a natural counterpuncher, waited for opportunities for Sukhotsky to open up, but since Sukhotsky remained very conservative, the pace of the bout was very leisurely in the early rounds. Despite the slow pace of the fight, Stevenson managed to score a knockdown in the 2nd round with a solid left hand in in the closing seconds of the round. In a special Saturday edition of Showtime Boxing on ShoExtreme, Jesus Cuellar took on Ruben Tamayo in the main event of a quadruple header made up of mostly Al Haymon fighters, live from the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington.

The Argentine Cuellar, coming off his destruction win over Juan Manuel Lopez, entered the fight looking to make a third successful defense of his interim WBA featherweight title against Tamayo, who came into the fight with two wins in 2014.

The slugger Cuellar started the fight with an intense pace and pushed the action. Tamayo, the boxer in the fight, tried countering from the start but had trouble keeping Cuellar from closing the distance and remaining in his range.
