Tribute to NBC News Reporter John Noel
by The Keys107 in Life
Tags: The Keys 107 John Noel NBC News Reporter Sponsored by Maun 107
The Keys 107 Network offers condolences to the family of John Noel.
On December 6, 2012 John stopped by The Keys 107 while driving on the Belt Parkway with his cameraman in the NBC News van on route Brooklyn, New York where he lived with his daughter. He talked about his journey as a journalist, being a father, and living with cancer one day at a time. He concluded with these words:
"I always say to people, I don't preach that this is the way you should live. If there is anything you hear me say, or see me do that you find of value take it as your own."
John Noel - an award winning journalist who worked as a reporter for NBC since 1998. He is known as a proud man of honor, integrity, and sincerity-even he said he was "lucky" but was also known as the one who could "truly" dance up a Latin storm! I met John while attending Brooklyn College and as I look back, he remained "just cool" no matter where he was in his life - what you saw is simply who he was!
Rest in peace-John Noel!

World Kitchen Presents Wedding Day Radio: Brett deMarrais
by World Kitchen in Women
Tags: World Kitchen Wedding Day Radio The Reception wedding videos Brett deMarrais of WedIt
Brett deMarrais reveals what led him to found WedIt, a service that takes the videographer out of the picture while delivering professionally edited wedding videos for under $500. “I always had a love for film and movies so I started doing research, and I came across a stat that 50 percent of brides nationally—over a million a year—don’t get a wedding video,” he tells Cocktails and Conversation hosts Erika Beckwith and Robin Hunt. “One of the reasons was the cost. The other reason was that there’s a stigma attached to wedding videos, namely that they’re invasive—you don’t want a cameraman in your face while you’re eating. We dispensed with the videographer so if there is someone shooting you during dinner, it’s your best friend. And because you’re not paying a crew to show up for half a day, we’re a lot more affordable.”

The Mighty Aaron Goodwin of GHOST ADVENTURES
by Americas Most Haunted in Paranormal
Tags: Aaron Goodwin Ghost Adventures Travel Channel Big Steppin GAC
Aaron Goodwin joined the Ghost Adventures team as reluctant cameraman and equipment tech for ghost hunting sessions of historic Nevada mining towns that resulted in an award winning documentary, and eventurally the triumphant GHOST ADVENTURES series on Travel Channel, now in its sixth season (Fridays 9pE/P).
Early on, Aaron was the comic relief, the shambling EVERYMAN wearing his fear on his sleeve, paired with the steely spirit stalkers Zak Bagans and Nick Groff.
But we have seen Aaron transformed into a lean, mean ghost hunting soldier over the course of the show.
An Oregon native, Goodwin didn't believe in ghosts until he had a personal experience in the GHOST ADVENTURES documentary – forever changing him. Goodwin first fell in love with film in high school. He moved to Las Vegas when he turned 21, where he taught himself how to edit and operate a camera.
Aaron's only formal film education is from the times h sneaked into classes and film seminars at UNLV to gauge if his technique was correct.
Goodwin continued to work in production and gained experience as cameraman on numerous television and film productions over the past fifteen years. Filming is a passion for Goodwin, and he is always armed with a camera. It was in Las Vegas that Goodwin met Bagans and Groff.
In addition, his Aaron Goodwin Collections site offers artwork from and selected by Goodwin, as well as his Big Steppin clothing line, video, audio, and philosophy.
