Did you know that the City Council has rewritten the entire Pampa City Charter and have put 51 Charter Propositions on the November ballot? If you did not know this I refer you to the City of Pampa website where you can download the document.
There are some points with which, I am sure, we will agree. However, this lack of transparency on the part of the City Council is exactly what the Concerned Citizens of Pampa are trying to combat. Why were these 51 propositions not discussed with Pampa citizens before being placed on the ballot? Is this another, deliberate attempt to sneak past the Pampa people in the hopes that they are not paying attention.
For this reason, I would recommend that we vote straight "NO" on every item so that the Council is forced to discuss these measures with the public and so that everyone has a firmer understanding of WHAT exactly a "YES" vote would mean to us and our children and grandchildren.
We are concerned about the citizens of Pampa GIVING OUR authority away to the city and state. We need to keep the power and the only way to do that is to vote NO on all propositions and force communication with the citizens.
BUT, let's face it, if WE THE PEOPLE do not attend city council meetings and communicate with our commissioners who are supposed to represent WE THE PEOPLE, how do we expect them to represent us. Please join the Concerned Citizens of Pampa and not let the power be taken from us because we are not involved. Please make your voices heard. There is power in numbers.
Our Facebook page will keep you updated on meetings of the “Concerned Citizens of Pampa.” Please attend and make your voices heard.
From David Duchovny’s ‘Californication’ to Jimmy Smits’ 'Outlaw,' Ellen Woglom makes clear choices!
Starring Emmy Award winner Jimmy Smits ("NYPD Blue," "The West Wing"), "Outlaw" is a new drama from creator and executive producer John Eisendrath ("Alias," "Felicity").
Few jobs are guaranteed for a lifetime, and a Supreme Court appointment is a position that no one ever quits -- unless he is Cyrus Garza (Smits). A playboy and a gambler, Justice Garza always adhered to a strict interpretation of the law until he realized the system he believed in was flawed. Now, he's quit the bench and returned to private practice.
Using his inside knowledge of the justice system, Garza and his team will travel across the country taking on today's biggest and most controversial legal cases.
Garza's team includes his best friend since childhood, Al Druzinsky (David Ramsey), a brilliant defense attorney with liberal beliefs; Mereta Stockman (Ellen Woglom), a hopeless romantic who is Garza's loyal law clerk; Lucinda Pearl (Carly Pope), a wildly unorthodox private investigator who uses her sex appeal and wit to gather information for Garza and Eddie Franks (Jesse Bradford), a tightly wound, rabidly ambitious Yale-educated attorney, recently hired as Garza's law clerk.
Woglom is best known for her supporting roles in Showtime’s “Californication” as the teenage daughter of the dean and as Nurse Lily in the feature film “Crash.”

We discuss the launch of 2 applications on YouTube - one for their popular series with David Duchovny called Californication and the other for the Michael C. Hall vehicle, Dexter, in which they've created interactive games by manipulating YouTube's annotations platform and doing a great job in the process. Rob also speaks about some of their other digital initiatives and why Showtime puts so much priority on delivering interactive television experiences on all platforms. David Duchovny joins host Robin Milling to discuss his new movie Phantom where he portrays an extremist KGB agent aboard a Soviet submarine during the Cold War. David tells Robin no acting was required as far as maneuvering through the tight enclosed spaces as they shot on an actual Russian sub from that era docked in San Diego harbor. Had it been out on the water and submerged, David says he might have felt claustrophobic and panicked.
Duchovny, who is actually of Polish and Ukrainian descent jokes that his last name made him the only authentic Russian on board with co-stars Ed Harris and William Fichtner. He tells Robin his father actually dropped the 'h' from their last name because of constant mispronunciations and felt Italian for awhile with the last name 'Ducovny.'
The Californication star is due back on set in April for season seven playing the irresistible scoundrel Hank Moody. David reveals Moody's appeal reaches women over 70 who stop him on the New York City street declaring their approval.
