In this radio show Martha Stokes CMT explains why the company and the stock are not the same thing. Once a company has gone public, the company's shares of stock take on a life of their own. The stock price may not be in harmony with fundamentals, due to the perceived value of the stock. Sometimes the stock price will rise while the fundamentals are weakening. Examples of this would be that revenues may be falling but the stock keeps going up in price, or the stock has a very high P/E ratio but the stock price keeps moving up. Martha explains why a stock's price may not be in sync with what is going on with the company. She also teaches you how to combine both fundamental and technical stock chart analysis, for optimal stock picks and a stronger portfolio.

The Fibonacci sequence (0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89 etc...) is named after Fibonacci. His 1202 book Liber Abaci introduced the sequence to Western European mathematics. Fibonacci numbers are intimately connected with the golden ratio. Applications include computer algorithms such as the Fibonacci search technique and the Fibonacci heap data structure, and graphs called Fibonacci cubes used for interconnecting parallel and distributed systems. They also appear in biological settings, such as branching in trees, phyllotaxis (the arrangement of leaves on a stem), the fruit sprouts of a pineapple, the flowering of an artichoke, an uncurling fern and the arrangement of a pine cone. The golden ratio phi (φ) is 1.6180339887... an irrational number, it has an infinite number of decimal places and it never repeats itself!
Cosmological Constant (lambda: Λ) is the value of the energy density of the vacuum of space. The cosmological constant is the simplest possible form of dark energy since it is constant in both space and time, and this leads to the current standard model of cosmology known as the Lambda-CDM model, which provides a good fit to many cosmological observations as of 2014. Skeptics like to say that fine tuning cannot be proven by science, since we have only one universe to study. However, the discovery and quantification of dark energy has puzzled a number of scientists, who realize that it’s extremely small value requires that the initial conditions of the universe must have been extremely fine-tuned in order that even matter would exist in our universe.
The Fibonacci sequence and the cosmological constant are evidence that there was intelligent design in the creation of the universe, and it did not come about as a result of random events governed by the laws of thermodynamics, in particular, entropy.

Good Protein Sources
Protein can help you shed those unwanted pounds -- and keep your belly full. But it's important to eat the right amount and the right kind of protein to get its health benefits.
Seafood is an excellent source of protein because it's usually low in fat. Fish such as salmon is a little higher in fat, but it is the heart-healthy kind: it has omega-3 fatty acids.
Stick to the white meat of poultry for excellent, lean protein. Dark meat is a little higher in fat. The skin is loaded with saturated fat, so remove skin before cooking.
Milk, Cheese, and Yogurt
Not only are dairy foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt excellent sources of protein, but they also contain valuable calcium, and many are fortified with vitamin D. Choose skim or low-fat dairy to keep bones and teeth strong and help prevent osteoporosis.
Eggs are one of the least expensive forms of protein. The American Heart Association says normal healthy adults can safely enjoy an egg a day.
One-half cup of beans contains as much protein as an ounce of broiled steak. Plus, these nutritious nuggets are loaded with fiber to keep you feeling full for hours.
This great and versatile white meat is 31% leaner than it was 20 years ago.
Fifty grams of soy protein daily can help lower cholesterol by about 3%. Eating soy protein instead of sources of higher-fat protein -- and maintaining a healthy diet -- can be good for your heart.
Research shows that including a source of protein like an egg or Greek yogurt at breakfast along with a high-fiber grain like whole wheat toast can help you feel full longer and eat less throughout the day.

Not too long ago, a prestigious secular scientific magazine suggested that religion, finally, was dying in the Western world. Unfortunately, the magazine isn't off the mark. Religion is being usurped by this thought of humanism. In countries like the U. K. and Holland, God isn't very popular. And when I say God, I mean Jesus Christ. These countries, on the surface, appear to go on with life, enjoying it without any thought of eternity. Faith is outdated. It isn't logical.
Or is it?
How can we tell a world that faith is more than just a matter of heart, it is of the mind as well? How can we reach our children who grow up in churches and are already spiritually distant from God by the time they're in their pre-teens? Can the Church be equipped to combat against a society that raises man to godhood and God to a mere imaginary friend of a man's consciousness?

In health circles there has been much recent talk about acid /alkaline imbalance. Let's see if we can clarify how experts recommend we correct this imbalance.
Your body functions best when neither too acid nor too alkaline. Unfortunately almost all of us have become acidic due to diet, drinks and stress -- both psychological and from pollution. Acids can build up in our body, causing systems to be out of balance.
According to Dr. Stefan Kuprowsky, "Acid wastes build up in the body in the form of cholesterol, gallstones, kidney stones, arterial plaque, urates, phosphates and sulfates. These acidic waste products are the direct cause of premature aging and the onset of chronic disease."
When this occurs, the body will restore its optimal pH by depleting certain minerals, such as potassium, calcium and magnesium, from organs and bones. In addition, your immune system may become fatigued from dealing with an excess of acid. Your body then stores acidic wastes in 'hiding places' such as muscles etc. rather than releasing the acids into the bloodstream.
