Tonight we address the IRS and its woes, scandals and infamous reputation.
When talking of this American Gestapo we cannot ignore America's desire for a more simple and easy to understand tax code.
You want simple, easy, fair? .... I give you the fair tax.
Villianized for its fairness, misrepresented for its danger to established power and over-complicated for its simplicity, the Fair Tax is the answer to so much that ails us in America today.
Splash talks about the basics, the benefits and the need for something as middle class friendly as The Fair Tax.
We will of course revisit the Budget Deal in potential peril and have more on the CIA Terror uproar.
All this plus the news of the world in general on tonight's show.
What is fair, what is just, what is equal? Why do so many miss the mark? Why do people think diversity (i.e. the clashing and chatotic mixing) is a good thing? They think so because (other than those who abuse it to gain a political edge) it resembles teh truth but is wide of that truth. Why do people think micro nutrients are better than fish oil for eye health? How doI relate this to health? Tune in to find out!

How do I get into the good art fairs and how do I make money when I get there?
These are the universal questions that need to be answered for earning a living in the fine art and fine craft show business. Our expert guests Larry Berman and Bruce Baker lead the way.
Larry Berman lends his expertise on creating great images that will "wow" they jury and Bruce Baker shares his experience on creating a great booth and meeting the customer. Between the two you'll have the answers and there is only one thing left for you to do: make great art.
Larry Berman has a long career in photography, including being the staff photographer for the NY Nets. He has been exhibiting at art fairs for over 30 years and was one of the first to recognize the importance of digital imagery in the art fair business and was responsible for the ZAPP image format which displays all jury images the same size. He has built a career improving jury images for artists and/or photographing their artwork. He has held seminars on jury images and does consulting with artists and art fairs.
Bruce Baker began selling his jewelry at retail and wholesale shows in the 1980's. Taking what he learned there he began consulting full time in 2005 sharing his retailing and business experience with a variety of groups ranging from Artists, Main Street Merchants, to Farm Market vendors, conducting over 600 marketing and production related workshops in the past two decades. He leads training sessions helping artists be more productive and competitive in the international marketplace.
Between the two you'll have all the answers and there is only one thing left for you to do: make great art. Only you can do that part.
THE CLIO EXCHANGE EXPRESS will this week focus on a conversation that will deal with the issue of relationships that have gone seriously wrong between law enforcement and the African American community. The tragic circumstances of young black men losing their lives when they encounter law enforcement has grown to a near epidemic porportion. It has consumed the airwaves as many within the community, who just happen to not be African Americans, are beginning to look beyond the haze and see that there is a systematic problem and it is tearing the nation apart. It is resurrecting the old hatemongers who thrive on the negative issues surrounding race. The cottage market of peddling racial hate has reared its ugly head and is spreading like wild fire because we have allowed ourselves to be lulled into thinking that this kind of anamis was dead. When in fact, it was simply hibernating and growing stronger.
On this show we will engage in conversation with Dr. Jeffery Johnson, Senior Pastor of Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfax, Virginia; Shirley Ginwrite, President of the Fairfax County NAACP; and, Jimi Bethel who is a former Washington DC police officer. The conversation will deal with the issues affecting our community and the challenges facing law enforcement officers as they attempt to serve in their role. This is a time when people who are standing for RIGHT... need to come forward and challenge the forces of WRONG.
President Obama says "When anybody in this country is not being treated equally under the law, that's a problem," he added. "It's incumbent on all of us as Americans ...that we recognize that this is an American problem and not just a black problem. It is an American problem when anybody in this country is not being treated equally under the law." Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/03/obama-eric-garner-decision_n_6264762.html
However, outside of the legal dilemna that is surfacing as a racial divide is an economical divide that people chant as being also evidence of inequality.
I intend to keep politics out of this. Money talks. Let's hear what money says, because money has no emotion, no ability to be swayed by tears. Money tends to move from the hand that holds it to the hands of those with experience.
People, it is time to move to the front of the room.
