Boss Cosmetix, Inc. was created and founded by businesswoman Rolanda Breaux. Rolanda was born and raised in Louisiana. From a young age, she dreamed of having her own make-up. She was always applying makeup to herself, friends, and family. It was in college when she realized she wanted to one day turn her dream into a reality. As the births of her three girls took place and as she built her other businesses throughout the years, her dream started to fade into the background. Recognizing the flaws in many of the current makeup and skin care products, she began to create different ideas for makeup and began to journal the vision for her cosmetics line.
Rolanda has always been a strong advocate for women. With her very high demanding & rare career within the oil industry, Rolanda knew she had another purpose on her life as well. It wasn’t until she heard about a tragic incident involving a woman who killed herself due to the loss of her husband. After this tragic loss, the woman believed she was not beautiful enough to keep on living. It was then Rolanda knew it was time. It was time to show women that true beauty is from within, and makeup only enhances the outward appearance.
As women, oftentimes we are subjected to difficulties and challenges in life. Sometimes just a little bit of makeup assists in making, you feel beautiful, and it can turn your attitude around.
Boss Cosmetix is so much more than a cosmetic line; we offer solutions for healthier skin. Boss Cosmetix started out focusing on women, but has expanded into the skincare market for men.

Authors of Hope I Don't Die Before I Get Old
Tracey and Mary Bowman were inspired to write their book,
while caring for their aging parents through chronic illness, fractured hips, surgery and death. As each other’s support network, they shared secrets and discoveries, tips and advice--amassing a wealth of wisdom on the topic.
Mary Boone Wellington, artist, inventor and businesswoman lives in The Great North Woods of NH. Discovering a world of frustration as she began to help her mother through her passage to old age, Mary Boone notes “The most surprising thing to me was how ineffective I was at making a real difference in my mother’s life. I had felt certain this “caregiving stint” was going to be a pleasant interlude of quality time spent with my beloved mom. Instead, it turned out to be incredibly stressful for us all.”
Tracey Bowman’s first exposure to caretaking was as an aide in a nursing home when she was 17. She later became a midwife completing her nursing degree at Rhode
Island College and her Master’s of Nurse-Midwifery at the Univ of Penn. She has spent 30 years taking care of mothers and babies. Currently she is a clinical teacher in the Nurse-Midwifery program at Yale Univ and maintains a private practice in southern New Hampshire. She says, “Even with all my knowledge as a nurse, I found
myself feeling overwhelmed and confused at times while helping my mother and father.

Today we have a special episode on living through addiction. With the upcoming movie release this Friday of Zane's ADDICTED, I thought it would be good to have a conversation on how many of us live our lives addicted to the status quo, and then feel forced to live a lie when we don't feel we measure up. Although this novel is fiction, it rings all too true for women today who are juggling careers, children, caretaking, marriages, and whatever else without taking time to know who they really are.
Women can we have it all and stay sane?
Are you driven by status quo and the desires of others to feel fulfilled in your lives?
This movie gives insights into why many women fail to truly succeed because along the way we experience a disconnection with our true intentions and desire, and seek to please others over ourselves until sometimes we simply get caught up.
So today we are talking about Zane's Book and Movie, ADDICTED to discuss how easily many of us can get trapped into living a secret life in ours heads that eventually erupts and impacts everyone, because we disconnect for our true identity.
Based on the best-selling novel by Zane, ADDICTED is a sexy and provocative thriller about desire and the dangers of indiscretion. Successful businesswoman Zoe Reynard (Sharon Leal) appears to have attained it all – the dream husband she loves (Boris Kodjoe), two wonderful children and a flourishing career. As perfect as everything appears from the outside, Zoe is still drawn to temptations she cannot escape or resist. As she pursues a secretive life, Zoe finds herself risking it all when she heads down a perilous path she may not survive.

Women, we touch the human spirit first, so we must be true to ourselves because we have the greatest impact on others.
Joining us on this week's episode of ZorCast is Karen Powell, CEO & Founder of Decor & You, Inc. Karen is a passionate businesswoman, and member of the International Franchise Association's Women's Franchise Committee, the Entrepreneurial Women's Network, the National Association of Women Business Owners and many more professional associations that center around women, franchising, and decor. Karen uses the proven Kolbe assessment program to identify the way that people take action, so that she can use the results to create rite-fit teams inside her organization. Karen will discuss this method and how she uses it to ensure that each member of her team is working to their capacity, and leaves work each day feeling energized and excited, not drained and disheartened.
About Our Guest
Few understand the significance of the phrase “If it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t get done!” better than Karen Powell, CEO of the national interior decorating franchise, Decor&You. Karen is part of a team of women who launched the business from the ground up in 1998. Karen views Decor&You as the ideal opportunity for businesspeople with extraordinary spirit who want to be their own boss and can find the courage to be master of their own success. Today, Decor&You is composed of 98 percent women franchisees who work hard to balance their time among the demands of career, family, health and hobbies. She cautions that it’s not easy to run your own business profitably, particularly a home-based business, while balancing competing interests. Yet she and many of the 30 franchisees who make up Decor&You will attest that when it’s done right, it’s profoundly rewarding.

My guest today is Robin Korth, an international speaker, writer and businesswoman. She describes herself as a renegade and an outlaw.
After years of doing life as she was “supposed to,” Korth walked away and began doing life from deep inside. She captures her experience in her book Soul on the Run (Balboa Press 2014), her courageously honest exploration of the power and joy that living is meant to be.
Today I'll talk with Robin about the power of being uncomfortable and how it is a gift and invitation from your soul to pay attention.
