The Alter for Burnt Offerings and You (Exodus 26 & 27)

    in Christianity

Everything in the Tabernacle has significance and meaning.  In 27:1, directions are given for the burnt offering; it was the first thing the Hebrews saw when they entered the Tabernacle.  Sacrifices for sins were constantly made there, and the blood of a lot of animals was shed on that altar.

What is so very important about altar of burnt offering is that when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, being completely without sin and blameless, He became the very last sacrifice for the sins of God's people.  His blood was shed once for all.  The old way is symbolic of the new that was to come in God's Son.

BISHOP DR. LAWRENCE MWAMBA PRESENTS, ZAMBIANS FOR JUSTICE IN SOUTH AFRICA

    in Radio

    DEUTRONOMY 27: 19.

CURSED BE HE THAT PERVERTETH THE JUDGEMENT OF THE STRANGER, THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOW. AND ALL HE PEOPLE SHALL SAY AMEN.

It came to our attention and that of the whole world.  How that innocent imigrants from within Africa had travelled to South Africa seeking for a better life and in turn help build tthe economy of South Africa.  Many did mange to get juobs in South Africa, and some manged to start their own businesses.  Over the years many of the imigrants were established as citizens of South Africa  Others were on their way to obtain legal status of becoming legal residents of South Africa.

A Xenophobic [Deep hatrate of foreigners or imigrants]  attitude brewed in many quaters of South Africa.  hateful words spoken by some chief insitigating attacks on innocent imigrants was a regratable behavior of a person in leadership. Suddenly innocent foreigners from Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Malawi, Zambia and other African countries were killed in cold blood.  Foreigners were torched and burnt alive using car tyres, others were axed to death the perpertrators using knives, matchets and whatever steel weapon they could lay heir hands on.  The foreigners cried for mercy but never got any.  People mainly South Africans just looked on and did nothing to help these innocent victims, while others just laughed the whole event off.

One man had his brains axed out of his head, he lay dying with his brains next to him, anothjer had his intestines cut out of his stomach and they were handing out of his body. Another had car tyres dressed over their necks and set on fire. These innocent foreigners were burnt to death with no remedy.  Another man was pictured with a South African so called crook yielding a kniofe over his face ready to stub and skice him to death and nothing was done.

Homosexuality & Christianity: What did Jesus say?

    in Current Events

Nicholas Snow welcomes Rev Clinton Crawhaw, Senior Pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church of the Coachella Valley, to discuss what Jesus did and did not say about homosexuality, dispelling a lot of the lies and mythology perpetuated by so-called "Christians."

Rev Crawshaw was born in Woking, in the county of Surrey just to the southwest of London (UK) in 1970  He moved with his parents to Devonshire at age eleven, then ran back to London ASAP at age 21. He went forward for ordination in The Church of England at age 30, and after studying at St Steven's House, Oxford, was ordained in 2002. He served as curate at St Alphage's church, Burnt Oak for 18 months, during which time he began to question the Anglican position on human sexuality and pastoral care.  After much soul searching and a period of extended illness he transferred credentials to MCC in 2006, and has worked as chaplain at Carl Bean House, an HIV hospice in South Central Los Angeles, and interim Pastor of The MCC Church in New Orleans, which he saw grow (with the support and hard work of his partner Leon) from a post Katrina low of 11 members to a thriving congregation of 95 members.  In May 2011 he was called to serve the congregation of MCC of The Coachella Valley as intentional interim Specialist, accompanying the church through a period of intense growth and revival. In March 2013 he was invited to remain at MCCCV as permanent Senior Pastor.  Rev Crawshaw's interests are, theology, art, antiques, the great outdoors and his three dogs, Mardi (Puggle), Precious (Australian shepherd) and Zack (Keeshond).

Do you Fear People more than God?

1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.  1Sa 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

    Speaking Points:

Burnout is not something that we normally study when it comes to our professions, however burnout is not only very real and prevalent; it might just be our next big health crisis. It affects every aspect of our health, our work and our life; body, mind and soul.

We are all aware of stress and the effects stress has on both our physical and mental health and have some idea about what methodologies will help us cope with and reduce the stressors in our lives. But burnout is not stress. However, you may be feeling burnt out if constant stress has you feeling exhausted, disillusioned and helpless. When burn- out hits it is almost impossible to muster the energy to care about – let alone do anything about the situation. It all seems futile, bleak and insurmountable.

Unhappiness and detachment are components of burnout. Isolation and collapse threaten jobs, relationships and health. It all begins to feel like everything is out of balance and nothing is worth the effort of attempting repair. However, with the right knowledge burnout can be healed. That is the purpose of this course. To examine the factors surrounding burnout and then examine how we can help our clients and patients, as well as ourselves both prevent and heal from burnout.

Hegelian Dialectic and Martial Law in the USA

    in Education

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV)   The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

The Hegelian Dialectic, or Diocletian’s Theory, was developed in the early 20th Century.  It involves the manipulation of an agenda, whether it be an individual salesman making a sale, a Government wanting to push through potentially unpopular legislation or a Corporation trying to increase its profit margin.  The Hegelian Dialectic involves a thesis (problem), antithesis (reaction), and synthesis (solution).

Thesis = Problem - Manipulate “customer” reaction by creating a perceived problem, perhaps by leaking stories to the press e.g.: Iraq WMD, Terrorist threat, Global Warming

Anti-thesis = Reaction – Your “customer” obviously is concerned by this apparent turn of events and demands help and protection

Solution – The solution that you would never have been able to sell before making the customer worried (e.g.: 5 years of Iraq war; an endless war on terror); and people for the first time being willing to pay more taxes and cut back on their consumption to “save the world” all under a false pretext.

Nazi Germany:  The Nazis torched Reichstag building, blamed the communists and used this as a reason to implement unwarranted search and seizure, confiscation of personal property, incarceration, torture and murder.

False flag events:  Furgeson MO, Boston Marathon Bombing, Sandy Hook Elementary, 911, ...

Para-military Police set fire to a vehicle in front of Advance Auto Parts in St. Louis MO on W Florissant Ave, the same street where nearly every fire occurred. Despite having this building locked down, Advance Auto Parts burnt down to the ground! (Grand Jury Decision not to indict Darren Wilson in the shooting of Michael Brown).

Rivers In A Desert Ministry - The Prophet and The Prophet I

    in Religion

1 Kings 13:1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of theLord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

2 And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
