On tonight's episode of Hashtag Sports, the Closer and the Game discuss who will more than likely be on the final 53 man roster for the Buffalo Bills in 2015. Will there be any surprises?
Also, the crew will briefly discuss Deflategate and the decision to uphold Tom Brady's 4-game suspension.
Have you ever wished you had help deciding which Pitcher you should pick up on the Waiver Wire? Or wondering who you should start on your football team this week? How about being in need of a Draft Strategy? Well your wish is about to come true, that’s right, Fantasy JAM is back on the air, and it will be BETTER than ever.
Hosted by a man who has being Fantasy Football so long, he once drafted Tony Dorsett as his Running Back, Chad “The Buffalo” Setera. There may be no more knowledgeable Fantasy player in the world than The Buffalo. Besides years of experience playing the game, he has also been a commissioner of many leagues and hosted podcasts about it for years. There is also no-one in the world who can quite control his partner like Chad, and make him focus.
His partner in this foray is Andrew “Fish” Fain. Having worked in the Sports industry for the past 20+ years, there are few people who have and can get the same inside info as Fish. He has played Fantasy Sports since the early 90’s and is even a member of the FSWA (Fantasy Sports Writers of America). There are very few people who are as loud, or as opinionated as Fish, so no matter what questions you may have, he will always have an answer, even if it is one you don’t want to hear.
But this show is so much more than just 2 guys spouting their opinions. This is the FIRST Fantasy Show that wants you to participate. Every week, we will publish an article on The Inscriber Digital Magazine that will have FIVE debate topics. We will finish those debates on the show, and invite to voice your opinion too.
So if you don’t want the same old same old when it comes to Fantasy advice and more, give Fantasy JAM a listen, I promise you will be hooked.
Tonight, Wednesday, July 29th, the KINGS of the 7 o'clock spot will question everthing that "seems" like a popular opinion. Sports is built on integrity, fairness, and equality. However, with life being so unfair, we have to question how fair sports can be with human imperfection being a factor. With that being said, tonight show will be dedicated to one of the most known unfair things in the world, "THE DOUBLE-STANDARD":
We will discuss of there are double-standards in sports headlines like:
1. Hulk Hogan's racist rant
2. Brittney Griner's domestic issues
3. The judgment of Caytlin Jenner
4. The body image of Serena Williams
5. The Buffalo Bills LeSean McCoy party
6. LA Clippers Josh Smith's financial woes

In Second to None, author Joe Valerio tells the incredible story of the Buffalo Bills: the perpetual almost-champions and their indomitable fans. The Bills' incredible skill and teamwork on the field was matched only by their single-minded determination as, in the four years spanning 1991 to 1994, the team won four consecutive conference championships, and lost four consecutive Super Bowls. The peaks and nadirs of their record reflect a fascinatingly dynamic, uneven, and—at times—uncontrollable array of talents. Valerio renders in sharp detail how the Bills' unique culture was formed by an unlikely ecosystem of world-class athletes hunkered down in bleak western New York, far away from the celebrity playgrounds of other pro teams. Meticulously researched and carefully crafted, this one-of-a-kind look inside the Super Bowl-era Buffalo Bills is based on extensive interviews with the key players, coaches, and management, including Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, as well as coach Marv Levy, general manager Bill Polian, and many others, including players and coaches from opposing teams, and the reporters who covered them.

For the Buffalo Bills, it was a season in which they finally eclipsed a winning season since exactly a decade ago. They won 9 games but had some issues down the stretch. It started with the quarterback situation as it seemed EJ Manuel just wasn't & hasn't been getting the job done as the organization had hoped for. He's still on the roster, but it looks like he'll be a dogfight for the starter spot maybe for the rest of his career. Also, a tough road loss in Oakland pretty much dimmed their chances at a playoff spot for the first time since losing the Music City Miracle game against Tennessee back in 1999. The franchise hasn't been right ever since. They've struggled to find a productive consistent passer, the offensive line has been a mess, & a coaching change has been made. In comes Rex Ryan, who has taken the Jets to back-to-back AFC Championship games (both losses) after the abrupt & bitter departure of Doug Marrone. The biggest news for this team during the offseason was the unexpected trade for running back Lesean McCoy which left many in the city of Philadelphia still stratching the back of their heads & not just the top. With the additions of him alongside troubled players Richie Incognito & Percy Harvin, what type of Bills team should many of us expect to see in 2015? Are they finally ready to challenge the Patriots? Catch another edition of The Rocket Sports Breakdown at a special time - this Sunday morning @ 9:30am on Blog Talk Radio. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.
Downtown residents of Buffalo are feeling pushed-out more and more over the past few years, and most of this has to do with an initiative launched years ago that has little or nothing to do with them, but affects where they currently live and the future of Buffalo, NY.
What is taking place stands to be part of Buffalo's version of Gentrification called UB 2020 that is eating away at the rights of the immediate black community affecting it-also known as the Fruit Belt-and the latest issue regarding it is the practice of suburban employees who work downtown taking parking spaces in front of homes of residents. A bill that would create a parking permit system is currently having trouble going through.
Chris will once again interview Veronica Nichols who has been fighting for the residents of the Fruit Belt (where she resides) and nearby McCarley Gardens for the past several years.
According to a report by WGRZ TV: "The proposal would allow a program to be established along the most heavily impacted streets, including sections of Maple, Mulberry, Locust, Carlton and High streets. Residents would be issued permits to park and 20 percent of the spaces would still be available for non-residential parking.
Two On Your Side has obtained a document showing that CSEA does not support a permit program because employees have limited places to park.
Currently, 3,100 employees work at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and only 1,600 spaces are available. In the next five years, 17,000 people are expected to work at the medical campus."
