Stir It Up with Connie and Brother Fatiyn

Stir It Up is a radio talk show that stirs up topics about woman for woman. Connie Johnson says what people think but are afraid to say. Although she is sometimes snippy in her delivery, her charismatic personality gives the audience the warm feeling that they are talking to their sister, mother, daughter or friend. Her co-host Brother Fatiyn is a perfect balance to the show as he brings a serious intellectual perspective to topics that are discussed.  Fatiyn who is a husband, dad and son, is the big brother who gives the male perspective and sound advice. Although he and Connie sometimes agree to disagree, their dialogue is not only serious and controversial, but funny. After Brother Fatiyn talks about current hot topics, the dialogue begins with two guest who, are on opposite sides of the topics, both co host and sometimes callers.

Some of the topics to look forward to are:

    The identity of a woman

    Women and their finances

The role of a mom vs. grandmothers

    Women in relationships

    Masturbation

Women who go back to college years after child rearing.

    Women in Ministry

The woman’s role in the church

    Adultery

    Dating older or younger men

    Eating healthy

Table Talk: Caring for a Brother

    in Caregiving

Katherine Flannery Dering, author of Shot in the Head: A Sister's Memoir, A Brother's Struggle, shares her story of caring for her brother, Paul, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 16.

    About Katherine:

Katherine Flannery Dering, author of Shot in the Head: A Sister’s Memoir, A Brother’s Struggle (Bridgeross Communications; 2014) is the second of ten children. Her younger brother, Paul, was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 16. Busy with her own family and career, she helped with his care only intermittently for many years, but took on a more intense role after her parents death and especially after he developed physical ailments, as well as the psychological ones. She found herself very moved by the experience and writes about caring for her brother in hopes that it will enlighten the public on the role of caregivers. Katherine holds an MFA from Manhattanville College, a BA from Le Moyne College, an MA from the University of Buffalo and a MBA from the University of Minnesota at Duluth. Her poetry and essays have appeared in Inkwell Magazine, as well as The Bedford Record Review, Northwords Press, Sensations Magazine, Pandaloon Press, Poetry Motel and Pink Elephant Magazine. A narrative non-fiction piece, which later became a chapter of Shot in the Head, was included in Stories from the Couch, an anthology of essays about coping with mental illness. Dering taught Spanish briefly and is a former CFO at a community bank in New York. She currently serves on the board of directors of a startup bank and actively volunteers with the League of Women Voters and the Northern Westchester Community Center. MIGHTY THOR RADIO NETWORK-HOST THE LION OF JUDAH BROTHER SHARIF

    in Education

    MIGHTY THOR RADIO NETWORK PRESENTS;

ANO-THOR-Debt Crushing Tuesday Broadcast. Needless to say our Lion of Judah Brother Sharif performed a Rumble of the Jungle (Babylon) on last weeks show, with tons of powerful information on how the People can hold illegitimate debt collectors accountable. THOR provided some deceptive news reports regarding how the Media deceives Consumers regarding the debt buying/collection industry. There were several video clips played demonstrating the lack of control, regulation, oversight when debt collectors using profanity, lying, imitating law enforcement, judicial officers and threatening jail for non-payment of alleged debts.

Why do the Consumers fear Debt Collectors, and Debt Collector Attorneys, Courts who are overseeing the collection of alleged Debts? Are we programmed and brainswashd to be Passive, Accepting, Fearful, Non-Combative, Forgiving, Guilty, Weak? Why are we so reluctant to hold others accountable for their outragious Conduct.?

THOR has been asked to address this topic and subject matter, and that request was passed on to our "Illuminator" Brother Sharif who has accepted the assignment to speak on the issue. THOR will also unapologetically continue where we left off last week showing the People how the debt collection industry has essentially gone rogue with street level hustlers, convicts, and felons putting their two cents together (literally) to buy your most confidential information which may be used to commit identity theft, create debts without your knowledge and ultimately extract money from you.
