When Nevada's brothels hire prostitutes - they are asked to fill out a form "asking" them if they are "being forced". Now if a pimp is forcing them to engage in sex work - they certainly can force them to answer a written test falsely. This victim asked everyone from her therapist to the police who came out during a "domestic dispute" between her and her 300 pound pimp who attacked her 95 pound body - and no one would give her the contact information to any of the groups that could have helped her sooner and more effectively than she's struggling with now. Here why she's decided to quit the sex industry despite the pimp now being gone and being "clean and sober" as well as why she agrees with us that we need to produce educational videos for anyone applying for a license about what trafficking is - as well as where to go when they need help to quit and escape. Also hear why "free" help is vitally needed for these victims who have to otherwise resort to sex work to pay for therapy!
Tonight we will be be talking to Nancy Hartwell who is a nationally recognized authority on human traffickingm most particularly the modern-day slave trade that ships girls to stock harems and brothels on the Persian Gulf. Nancy will be speaking about Targets, how traffickers commonly operate, how they will lure and trap their victims and will give us some tips for parents to monitor their kids social media sites without setting of a war.
Nancy has served on the Montgomery County Task Force on Human Trafficking and has been interviewed on nearly 300 radio stations across the United States.

"Edmund Burke’s quote has always stuck with me, ‘all that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.’ When I thought of it in these terms, that these girls are being tortured with acid, electrocuted and raped 30 times a day because you and I are doing nothing to stop it, I knew it was time for us to step up. Our sisters across the world need us.” (Nicky Mih).
Free To Shine was founded in June 2010 after Nicky spent a month with more than 200 survivors. The approach and philosophy was not to rescue or fix but to empower. What did they want? They wanted to end sex slavery. They wanted for survivors to be able to attend university for free so that they could become teachers, doctors and lawyers as they viewed these professions as being fundamental in ending sex slavery. They also explained that when girls are rescued from the brothels the traffickers simply go out into the villages and take a new young girl. They wanted these girls to be protected. They believed that if these young girls were in school they would not be trafficked.
Almost 3 years later and Free To Shine now have 72 girls on their scholarship program, as well as 2 survivors.
Prostitution is the business or practice of engaging in sexual relations in exchange for payment or some other benefit. Prostitution is sometimes described as commercial sex. A person who works in this field is called a prostitute, and is a kind of sex worker. Prostitution is one of the branches of the sex industry. The legal status of prostitution varies from country to country, from being permissible but unregulated, to an enforced or unenforced crime or to a regulated profession. Prostitution is sometimes also referred to as "the world's oldest profession". Estimates place the annual revenue generated by prostitution worldwide to be over $100 billion. Prostitution occurs in a variety of forms. Brothels are establishments specifically dedicated to prostitution. In escort prostitution, the act may take place at the client's residence or hotel room (referred to as out-call), or at the escort's residence or a hotel room rented for the occasion by the escort (in-call). Another form is street prostitution. Although the majority of prostitutes are female with male clients, there are also gay male prostitutes, lesbian prostitutes, and heterosexual male prostitutes. Sex tourism refers to traveling to engage in sexual relations with prostitutes. Some rich clients may pay for long-term contracts that may last for years.

Tonight's special guest is Jody Williams from Las Vegas a survivor of child abuse, rape, domestic violence, and sex trafficking. She has been in recovery from drug addiction and the sex industry as well as mental illness since 1985. In 1987, Jody founded Sex Workers Anonymous - the first program of it's kind to help men and women across this country to exit the sex industry and/or find recovery after having left it. Their hotline has answered over 500,000 calls over the years. What started out as a small meeting in a coffee shop soon exploded to now have meeting across the USA, as well as in five other countries now. Spending five years interviewing 1,000's of recovering prostitutes and sex workers, Jody published the Recovery Guide. This is the her group's version of what is the Big Book in Alcoholics Anonymous. For decades Jody has been fighting back the legal brothels from expanding outside of their small county into both California and Nevada successfully. She put together the first ever press conference about trafficking as it exists within the legal brothels of Nevada in 2008 where she was met with violent retaliation. Many courts are using this program today as part of their probation and alternative sentencing programs, while there are local meeting in many cities and phone meetings for those who wish to remain truly "anonymous" or for those who can't travel. The SWA hotline is the only one answered by a survivor that's not connected with law enforcement. Jody has just come out with an e-book for parents on "What to do if you suspect your child is involved in prostitution" based on years of getting the same call over and over again.

WE MAY BE OUT OF TIME.Like that Malaysian jet responder the signal is getting weaker. That is the signal that the president is sending out to the world. We are weak we are weak. The military is being demoralized by atheists and communists with no GOD rules. Public Schools are marxist trianing grounds. Colleges are good time brothels and abortion clinics. We are creating a nation of dopers and sluts. The wolves are watching the weakest.

Patton said in his lifetime he saw the USA come from behind to win Twice.
He doubted that with nukes and missiles we could survive a first strike.
Today Islam is murdering Christians hidden by a communist media. Today they fire Russian Ak47's in the air. Tomorrow nuclear missiles.
My name is Joshua Middleton and I was diagnosed HIV positive on June 5, 2012. I had survived death twice already from Necrotizing Fasciitis and Septic shock while being hospitalized over 30 + times in a two year period. I was diagnosed when I was already in a very stressful moment of my life. I was in a relationship with a girl in Tijuana Mexico that I thought would eventually end in the perfect white picket fence life, including marriage and a baby. I was wrong… She cheated on me twice while we were attempting to have a baby together. Not knowing how to deal with the relationship breakup I started to seek out love in all the wrong places including having multiple one night stands unprotected and even visiting brothels in Northern Tijuana in an effort to want to feel what it was like to have a woman's touch again. I had put myself in many high risk situations, I wasn't sure if my ex had used protection, and we had both gotten tattoos just month prior. I got tested as I normally did out of routine after getting symptoms of pink eye. I expected a negative result as I always had received but this time it was not so good news , I came out positive. I was forced to make the decision of where my life would go from there on out. After being inspired by several HIV activist who have now become good friends, I was determined to not let this virus defeat me. I started on treatment a week after being diagnosed and decided to take the optimistic route to this virus. I became an HIV activist, letting everyone know about my story, assuring people this is certainly not just a gay mans disease. I am more than a virus and have big dreams/goals for my life that this virus will not stop me from accomplishing. This is my story a California boy who does not fall into the average "stigmatized statistic" that people think of when it comes to HIV however this is my life, I am HIV + and there is no shame in me knowing my status.ory. An average Southern
