    God's Great Plan For Brokenness

    in Christianity

I must readily admit that I don't always go through difficulties, trial and suffering very well. In fact at times I wish I didnt have to go through it. But I must also admit that when I have gone through various trials I've seen the mighty hand of God leading us on and encouraging us that yes "this too shall pass". And with brokenness God definitely has a plan, some of which is to strip us bare from all of our self-will and stubborness, as well as self sufficiency and enormous pride. And sometimes God arranges certain trials, hardships, difficult people, tough challenges or situations to bring us to that place of brokenness. Ultimately he's seeking to make us whole, and for some of us the very first time. And so it is with us today God has been after us for some time, persuing us with His great love. Perhaps its a sinful habit we will not let go of, or just not wanting to change because we like the way we do things. The question we must ask ourselves is what is it that is causing me to suffer and battle much longer than I have to? Delaying God's blessings of wholeness and restoration and missing out on His plan for brokenness.

Let the Healing Begin ~ Part III : Mishandling Brokenness- Apostle Terry Dixon

    in Psychology

Dr. Terry Dixon locks shares insights about healing  with Sister Michelle Edmonds on this 3rd segment of LET THE HEALING BEGIN

If you have ever been hurt or broken or ever felt rejected, this is the book you need to read. If you are a in the ministry in any way shape or form I would encourage you to pick this book up for yourself and a friend; it will deeply bless and uplift your life. I've come to know that if there is one place folks know how to beat you without a physical blow is in the Church or among Church folks, what's worse is, those that receive the toughest blows are the anointed ones and few know how to handle the hurts, pains and disappointments of another therefore leaving you a mishandled child of God

The LET THE HEALING BEGIN series is rooted in the following books:

    The Tragedy of Brokenness

    in Lifestyle

We all face seasons of brokenness in our lives where we are most vulnerable. Vulnerable to what you may ask; other peoples opinion of us, how we are treated by others, exposing desperate places of need in our lives, sharing intimate parts of us, and the list can go on and on. We will be discussing the tragedy of brokenness if you as an individual are not careful to set safeguards around your self to protect you in your time of brokenness. The place of brokenness has the ability to weigh heavy on our health, mental, emotional, and spiritual state so join us for insight on how to make this time of transition manageable and tolerable or learn how your actions towards others can either add or take away from them in their place of brokenness.

    Womens Wisdom Circle-Feeling Safe

    in Spirituality

Join host Teresa Maron for the Women's Wisdom Circle, a soul sanctuary that invites women to be who they are without needing to change or fix themselves or anyone else in the circle.

We gather for deep listening, creative reflection and authentic soul-sharing. We begin by exploring a wisdom quote and go where the Spirit leads.  The Circle is a place to honor our flowering alongside our brokenness and our gathering feels new and ancient at the same time.

Today's Quote-The more severe the dysfunction you experienced growing up, the more difficult boundaries are for you. – David W. Earle

The Wisdom of the Circle is the Circle itself. Rev Brigid Waszczak, Facilitates the Circle.

When you're a survivor of childhood trauma, Feeling Safe is very challenging. Not all survivors of abuse are ready to hear this kind of show, but we promise to stay solution based, and positive on the joy of seeking safe boundaries, and the healing that can occur.

Special Guest Elizabeth Gibbons. is a creator of spiritual and transformative paintings and sculptures. She is a compelling advocate for adults of trauma filled childhood homes.

The effects of childhood trauma on adult relationships is a topic very near and dear to my heart. I have been involved my whole life with people who resonate with this topic, and I wanted to invite you to Listen IN and be part of a panel discussion to be aired for our community.
