Bridgette Guerzon-Mills is drawn to the inherent beauty and spirit of the natural world, and her artwork is a personal dialogue that reaches into the stillness of that spirit. Through both imagery and medium, Bridgette creates organic pieces that speak to the cycles of life, growth and decay, memory and the passage of time.
Her mixed media paintings incorporate moments captured by photographs with the richness of paint, creating a bridge between two worlds – the real and the reconstructed. By laying down layers of paint and pieces of photo transfers, papers or fibers she creates depth in both form and meaning. The canvas becomes a multilayered surface that speaks to both the visual and tactile senses. This integration of diverse layers creates an intimate connection that invites exploration.
It is this insight and meaning and how where it comes from that we will discuss.

Welcome to Bill Martinez Live, hosted by an unapologetic AMERICAN U.S. Marine of Mexican descent who knows why people come to America but demands that immigrants come through the front door and that the rule of law be respected. Bill Martinez Live waves just one flag and has no use for hyphenated hearts torn between the Stars and Stripes and some other foreign banner. We put the United States over party politics and broadcast our unstinting praise of this great land to 250 American cities through CRN, BML syndication and the ever popular Blog Talk Radio platform.
Republicans & Democrats have lost a grasp on life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for America. Bill Martinez Live helps us regain it. Listen in to the show to hear every facet of the issues but keep your eye on God and the exceptionalism to which he has urged on America and its people. Our nation is at a crossroads but remember your solemn birthright fellow Americans as "We the People". Would YOU like to be a rapid fire guest? Contact my producer Bill McIntosh at 305-396-2806 and leave a message if he doesnt pick up or email a 30 word intro of yourself and send us your land and cell phone numbers (if you have both) to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Are people tired of talking about HIV, or is there still interest in the global pandemic. Are women being overlooked and gay men the continued focal point? Do people still fear becoming infected? What if there was a pill you could take to prevent HIV infection?
I will be joined by co-hosts Nicole Vick, Percy Pandy, and Bridgette Picou in a conversation about HIV, sex, women, and a new HIV prevention tool called PrEP* (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis). Learn about what's new in the fight; its impact on the community; and what concerns are in existence.
*Pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a prevention option for people who are at high risk of getting HIV. It’s meant to be used consistently, as a pill taken every day, and to be used with other prevention options such as condoms. For more info go to: http://prepfacts.org/
