at just 19 years-old Aaron Dixon and he was given instructions to form the Seattle Chapter. With his appointment as Captain of the Seattle Chapter, he formed the first branch of the BPP outside of California.
Dixon and his fellow Panthers were able to turn their Panther chapter into a thriving center of militant Black activism and community service in Seattle’s Central District.
Dixon and Panthers created a free medical clinic (still in operation today as the Carolyn Downs Clinic), five breakfast programs for schoolchildren, the first free food bank in Seattle, a prisoner visitation program, and free legal services for poor people. The Party also responded to calls from the community regarding police brutality and harassment.

Free Em All Radio! W/ Chairman Fred Hampton Jr & The Lady of Rage
In the spirit and position of nothing being all good and nothing being all bad. We are in a stage which can be defined and recognized as bad but beautiful. Terrible but fine. For as we approach the 50th year Anniversay of one of the most revolutionary organizations that North America has yet to witness...The Black Panther Party. We see the continuance of what Malcolm X assessed.. When they can't stop it, they will attempt to co-opt and hijack it. This is not a new contradiction. Though there are those whom are just witnessing and/or acknowledging its impact. These are necessary contradictions in order to witness and distinguish friend from foes, adversay and allies, liberals and criminals, false flaggers from Freedom Fighters!

Sherwin Forte is on of the six original members of the Black Panther Party. He is traveling to Charlotte to introduce the documentary, The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution.
The BPP originated in Oakland, California, by founders Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. The Original six members of the Black Panthers included Elbert “Big Man” Howard, Sherman Forte, Reggie Forte, Little Bobby Hutton, and Newton and Seale. They adopted the Black Panther symbol from an independent political party established the previous year by Black residents of Lowndes County, Alabama. The Panthers also supported the Black Power movement, which stressed racial dignity and self-reliance.
The Black Panther Party was one of the most militant, influenetial, respected, and targeted Black Nationalist groups during the 60s and 70s. As part of its ten point program, the BPP essentially advocated for an end to capitalism, and replacing it with the objectives of socialism. We will discuss why and how this program is still relevant to today.

We welcome Mwalimu W. Kabaila from the historically famous US organization, under the leadership of Maulana Karenga and now with CAP - the Congress of African People. We will get into the ideology of Culture Nationalism and its tenets. How the initial connection between the BPP and the US organization began. What caused the breakdown and the rift, which led to the deaths of bunchy carter and John Huggins. Was Us really behind that? What can we learn from that past history?
What is the congress of African people? What are it's goals, aspirations, and visions ? Is it possible for Revolutionary Nationalist an Cultural Nationalist to get on the same accord. tonight at 8:00 pm 347 826 7332 . To hear this wonderful contribute to our fallen but not forgotten comrade George L Jackson
