Stool diagnosis is a great way to learn about the health of the digestive tract and the body, in general. There’s a scene in the movie, The Last Emperor, where the Chinese doctors look at the young emperor’s stool and then recommend some changes in his diet. Of course, talking about examining what’s in the toilet isn't very cool. In fact, it's a “dirty” job, but someone’s got to do it, and I guess that someone is going to be me. So, put aside your squeamishness about bowel movements and let’s talk about how you can tell what your body needs from examining the final remains of your recent meals.

Naturopathic Doctor Elizabeth Yarnell joins me for what I expect to be a great eye opening interview!
Elizabeth Yarnell, ND, has a mission to improve lives simply by changing the way we eat. Award-winning author, patented inventor, social entrepreneur, and prolific natural health and nutritional expert, Elizabeth strives to help people identify the foods and lifestyle elements that are healthy for them, and then to inspire new ways to think about living and eating. After a 1999 diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis forced her to take a good look at her own diet and lifestyle, she dove into researching the connection between what we eat and how we feel. The infusion cooking technique she subsequently invented and patented not only gave her a way to alter the course of her health, but also offered a deliciously quick and convenient weeknight dinner solution for just about anybody. Everyone has a story to tell, everyone has a purpose that may teach us something and everyone has love and kindness to share; don't you agree? So why do so many people walk this earth with pent up issues about love, kindness, our past and the illusions we call our life? Maybe because they have not been challenged and allowed to grow against the odds.
My guest is Kevin Scott Hall, author, journalist, singer/songwriter and teacher. He is the author of a memoir A Quarter Inch from My Heart. This is a story about taking in a stranger, loving him until his death and realigning life's treasures from the heart. Kevin had past events that were stored deep inside and by sharing love and caring with another person without barriers and conditions, he was allowed to release the deep sorrows and pains that held his heart.
