Celtics Talk Radio episode 108 continuing to look at the Boston Celtics Schedule

    in Sports

In the last Celtics Talk Radio the Celtics Talk Crew was joined by Stats Adam aka Adam Lowenstein. They were discussing the Celtic's schedule and what they thought about it. From the question of whether the beginning or ending of the season will be more important for the Celtic's. To whether or not the Celtic's should feel disrespected by the NBA giving teams like the Laker's more nationally televised games despite the Celtic's having made it to the playoffs last season. Unfortunately due to a BlogTalkRadio system failure our show was cut off early. So the Celtic's Talk Crew will continue their discussion. This time they will be joined by Kwapt of RedsArmy.com.

Third & Short: Roxaan Herrera - Philadelphia Eagles

    in Sports

Host Wanda Wiedman discusses the Philadelphia Eagles win over the New York Jets with NFLFemale Official Fan Reporter Roxaan Herrera.

Eagles are 10-0 when playing against the New York Jets. They started off slow in the season but played a more balanced offense against a tough Jets defense.

Roxaan emphasized the need of the run game and the importance of playing Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews over Demarco Murray. Quarterback Sam Bradford is still not believed to be the leader of the offense but he did a little better when passes are shorter and the run game is on point.

The defense stepped up with the forced fumble and a miracle backward throw on behalf of Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall into the hands of an Eagle defender.

Boston College Football Week 5: Duke Blue Devils

    in Sports

The injury bug is turning into a parasite.

One week after losing their quarterback for the season, the Boston College Eagles defeated the NIU Huskies, 17-14. Along the way, they lost their starting running back, another tight end, two other running backs. They improved to 3-1, but the survival attrition continued to take its toll.

With this in mind, we're going to take to the airwaves to talk about the Eagles and try to dissect last week's game. What went right? What went wrong? What can be fixed? What needs to be gameplanned against? All of that is on the table.

Dan and AJ will welcome two guests onto the broadcast this week - friend of the program and ACC insider Brittnee Taylor-Newman from Football.com joins them to discuss the game with the Blue Devils and the entire landscape of the league; and Joey Weaver from From The Rumble Seat dials in to talk about what to expect out of Duke. His Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, a preseason favorite to win the conference, are now unranked thanks to two straight defeats, the second of which came at the hands of David Cutcliffe's team last Saturday.

Be sure to give us a call at 646-200-0446 to talk about the attrition, the roster, the coaches, and the games!
