Kate White is the New York Times bestselling author of ten works of fiction--six Bailey Weggins mysteries (including So Pretty It Hurts and If Looks Could Kill), and four suspense novels: Eyes on You, The Sixes, Hush, and the upcoming The Wrong Man (June 2015). She is also the editor of The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook, which was published in March of this year. For 14 years, Kate was the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, taking it to number one on newsstands and keeping it there. Though she loved the job (and the Cosmo beauty closet!), she decided to leave in late 2013 to work full time as an author, a long-time dream of hers. Like many mystery writers, Kate fell in love with the genre after reading her first Nancy Drew book, The Secret of Redgate Farm, and she still admires those cliffhanger endings created by "Carolyn Keene."

Author Robert Doubek wrote Creating the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, detailing the contention and debate behind the creation of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Since its dedication in 1982, the memorial has been one of the most visited monuments, honoring the fallen as a cultural icon. However, there was also a great deal of controversy at the time of its inception, with some dismissing it as "a nihilistic slab of stone." The designer, Maya Lin, was also criticized for her ethnicity, spurring a battle in Congress. Authors Robert Doubek and Susan Clotfelter Jimison of the, book DEAR MARK, a tribute to her hero brother who died in Vietnam and a frequent honored guest at the Vietnam Memorial, discuss the Wall and what is means to veterans and Americans in this exclusive LIVE interivew . Author Declan Finn joins me this week to discuss his books, including: The Pius Trilogy, It Was Only On Stun & Codename: Winterborn.
Declan Finn lives in a part of New York City unreachable by bus or subway. Who's Who has no record of him, his family, or his education. He has been trained in hand to hand combat and weapons at the most elite schools in Long Island, and figured out nine ways to kill with a pen when he was only fifteen. He escaped a free man from Fordham University's PhD program, and has been on the run ever since. There was a brief incident where he was branded a terrorist, but only a court order can unseal those records, and really, why would you want to know? He is currently hard at work on a vampire novel called "Honor At Stake." His political ramblings can be found at the-american-journal.com, while his rantings on writing can be found at:
