  • WHAT IS MYSTICISM IN THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY OF ENLIGHTENMENT

    in Books

Good Morning Brothers & Sisters… This is Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Galdiano Montenegro of the Holy Temple of Nzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Rite, Sanctus Illuminatus in Los Angeles, California. I wanted to invite all of you to attend our online classes in Afro-Brazilian Mysticism and Western Gnosticism.

Throughout the history of humanity, there have been individuals whose mission it was to act as guiding lights within the darkness of the ignorance and hatreds of humanity. These individuals have been called saviors, prophets, masters, magicians, bodhisattvas, Buddhas, arhats, and sons of man… With wise words, miracles, and esoteric written texts, these men and women have brought about changes to advance human spirituality.

We read in books that these holy individuals undertake various missions and have belonged to different eras, regions, religions, sects, secret societies, and esoteric orders; yet, there is a common and exact doctrine that is inherent within all of their works. As if there were a cosmic plan, in all races and eras, to send these enlightened messengers to work for specific missions in regards to the evolution of humanity.

If you would like to receive a “Free 2014 Brochure of Membership” of our online classes, contact: SanctusIlluminatus@gmail.com

WHAT IS MYSTICISM ON THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY OF ENLIGHTENMENT...HOLY TEMPLE OF NZM

There is an incredible amount of mass of evidence indicating the existence of initiated philosophers possessing a superior knowledge of divine and natural laws. There is also sufficient proof that these initiates were the agents of a World Fraternity or Brotherhood of Adepts that has existed from the most remote time. This World Fraternity or Brotherhood of Adepts has been called the Philosophic Empire, the Great School, the College of the Holy Spirit, and the Invisible Government of the World. References to this sovereign body of “the ancient ones of the earth” occur in the sacred writings, the philosophical literature, and the mystical traditions of all races and nations of mankind.

The Six Perfections--Interview of Guru Ganesha Singh

    in Religion

In this episode, Tenzin Norbu will give an overview of  the six perfections, or "paramitas," that a Bodhisattva practices on the path to Buddhahood. Cultivating and expressing the six paramitas in thought and action is the path that leads to Buddhahood, and the main purpose of The Life of Universal Loving radio program is to provide guidance about how to cultivate and practice the six pefections.

It is important to know that Bodhisattvas and Buddhas have a sympathetic regard for the beliefs and practices of non-Buddhist religions, because this sympathetic regard is an aspect of the universal love and compassion of a Bodhisattva and a Buddha. To hate or have contempt for the beliefs and practices of others is a failure to love and embrace people as they are. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas skillfully teach the skills that lead to true and lasting happiness, and it is extremely unskillful to hate or contemn others because of their beliefs and practices. It is also extremely unskillful to cause others to feel disrespected because of their beliefs.  One should appreciate this aspect of the attititude of a Bodhisattva at the very beginning of one's practice of the Bodhisattva way of life.

In the second half of the show, the singer/songwriter Guru Ganesha Singh will appear as a guest. Guru Ganesha practices the Sikh religion and his music is a beaufiful expression of some of the important practices of Sikhism. There are many important parallels between Buddhism and Sikhism.

Guided Meditation - We Can and Should Eliminate Anger

    in Buddhism

This guided meditation supplements earlier guided meditations for developing the pefection of patience--the Bodhisattva attainment that has overcome the disposition to become angry. In this guided meditation, we will work on developing two beliefs: that we can overcome anger and that we should overcome anger. We know that we can overcome anger, because Bodhisattvas and Buddhas before us have done this, and they are only different from us as a result of haivng trained their minds to overcome anger, whereas we have not yet accomplished this. We will do analytic meditation on some of the negative consequences of anger to help us become convinced that anger should be eliminated from our minds.
