Given the fact that we have lost an R&B giant in Bobby Womack, we are dedicating this show to our Soul Brother. We are going to play music from our Host collection for your enjoyment. No copyright infringement intended here. We just want to pay tribute to a man for all season.
Bobby Brooks Wilson returns to our show during his busy schedule. Of course Wilson is best known to be the son of R&B legend Jackie Wilson, and one you see and hear him you'll notice the similarity doesn't end there. Bobby has become an international celebrity in his own right and he intends to share with us his experiences, his amazing CD "It's About Time," and his tour dates and future plans for recording.
According to his website Bobby is now on the Ballot for The Grammys 2014 for his hit single, “I get The Sweetest Feeling”, which peaked #10 on the Top 40 Adult Contempoary Charts. He is on the Ballot for 4 catorgories. R & B Song of the Year, R & B Album of the Year, Best Vocal R & B/Pop Performance of the Year, and Godspell.
Syndicated columnist Chris Stevenson will once again be interviewing Bobby, feel free to call-in to the show with your questions or comments to Bobby, or make a comment on the link below during the show or the archive.
This will be Episode 1 for R B Waters on Everything.
It will serve two functions, firstly to test the capabilities of my iPhone for broadcasting.
Secondly, to introduce myself and my show.
I am R B Waters, I plan to have shows where no subject is off limits. Hence, R B Waters On EVERYTHING.
This show will be me "getting my feet wet" and beginning what hopefully will prove to be broadcast excellence for years to come.
Some topics on this broadcast may include the Bowe Bergdahl situation and other failures of the Obama Administration. No topics have been fully mapped out yet, but this situation is on my mind so it will most likely come up.
I intend to improve equipment over time, this first show will be created using my iPhone 4S through Verizon Wireless (Prepaid, so I get screwed out of Visual Voicemail features, but, I digress).
So, welcome and please offer some feedback when you've listened to this.

HOLLINS IN KIDD OUT!!
Except from CBS Sports
Just a week ago, it seemed crazy to think the Brooklyn Nets were in the hunt for a new coach. While he had his ups and downs, Jason Kidd seemed like a solid leader on the sidelines after finding a way to rally a struggling Nets team halfway through last season and eventually getting them to the second round of the playoffs. Then news broke that Kidd went after more power in the organization before finding a new place to coach in the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Nets didn't wait long to find a new coach either. A year ago, they seemed likely to hire Lionel Hollins before Kidd emerged as their guy. The Nets' Twitter account tweeted out that an agreement in principle with Hollins to be the new head coach has been reached.
Bobby Jaksa took his talents(his big mouth) to South Florida. Now he is using it behind a microphone.
