Have you heard? It’s the 100th show of Jersey Coastal Live and The Duprees are coming to Long Branch for a free outdoor concert. Big news all around! The classic "doo-wop" group The Duprees was formed in the early 1960s in Jersey City, NJ, where the original members were students at William L. Dickinson High School. In 1962 the group was discovered by George Paxton, the owner of Coed Records and a former big band leader. He signed them and put together their first record, a remake of a 1952 hit, "You Belong to Me" which included a big band arrangement. The song became The Duprees’ first million seller and many other hits followed with the unmistakable sound of their complex harmonies and romantic interpretations of beautiful love songs. During the 1960’s, the group had several more hits such as My Own True Love, Gone With the Wind, Take Me As I Am, Why Don't You Believe Me, Have You Heard, Love Eyes, It's No Sin, The Sand And The Sea, It Isn't Fair, Let Them Talk, and Exodus.
The current members of The Duprees include Tommy Petillo, Jimmy Spinelli, Phil Granito, and the leader and emcee Tony Testa (who originally was the group’s guitarist) who will join me for an interview. Along with their unique sound and beautiful vocal harmonies, The Duprees perform with showmanship that is second to none. Thousands of fans around the globe are captivated by their wonderful mixture of romance, energy, and fun. When The Duprees take the stage, the fans are thoroughly entertained. Enjoy a car show followed by The Duprees in concert on August 17 at 8:30PM, at Brighton and Palmer Aves, Long Branch, NJ. After the interview with Tony Testa, please check out After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.

How can long-term care programs better preserve their resources for participant care? Experts from Xerox tackle this question in this podcast. Join Xerox's Frank Spinelli, vice president of Long-Term Care solutions, and Sara Fitzsimmons, vice president of audit and compliance solutions, for a discussion about the types of fraud facing long-term care services and supports and their costs to healthcare programs.
