The Inside Pitch 2.5: Indians and Draft
The Inside Pitch is back for 2013.
The Inside Pitch is an on-line radio show hosted by Andrew Zajac and Jeff Ellis, who are two contributing members of IndiansBaseballInsider.com. The show debuted in April of 2012 and has a heavy focus on fantasy baseball, though depending on the time of the year the show also focuses on other subjects like the Cleveland Indians, the Major League Baseball Draft, trade and free agent rumors, and lots more.
This year the show is going to expand this season to an hour in length and will air on Thursday nights from 8:00 PM EST to 9:00 PM EST. We are hoping to add more interactivity including guests and would love for fans to call in or use the new IBI chat feature.
Tonight we will discuss the the upcoming MLB draft in-depth. Which players are on the rise on most draft boards? Who has the potential to go in the top five? Andrew and Jeff will also discuss players who could be there at pick number five for the Indians. They'll also talk about the Indians recent week and how it might or might not translate for the rest of the season. What should the Indians do with Trevor Bauer? Andrew and Jeff will also discuss Lonnie Chisenhall's recent demotion and his future.

Was sending Lonnie Chisenhall and Nick Hagadone to AAA Columbus the right move? Is Trevor Bauer close to a permanent big league call-up? Will Brett Myers have any significant impact when he returns from injury? All this and more will be answered in this week's episode.
In the rest of Major League Baseball, Zach Greinke makes his triumphant return while David Price succumbs to injury. Curtis Granderson is back with the Yankees while Travis Hafner and Andy Pettitte are dealing with injuries. And the Blue Jays are finally winning, but is it too late for them now?
