Are Black Women Too Independent
by Butterfly Evolution in Self Help
Tags: Black Women Too Independent I Dont Need A Man Race Women
Recently I read writing from a young Black female titled “Why Are Black Women So Independent”? The writer noted that this is a question that has been repeatedly asked but wrongfully answered by many. The writer goes on to explain that this question has also caused a comparison to the race of other women arguing that women who are not black are the total opposite. What are your thoughts? Are Black Women too independent? What is too independent? “Do Black Women really feel like they don’t need or want a man? How or did slavery contribute to the widespread of independence? How or does this independence effect the structure of the Black Family? Tune in Monday May 13 at 8PM CST. Listeners are encouraged to call in and select the number one to speak with the guest and/or host.

You or your organization can be a great help for my new book development on 21st Century Media & Sports. I'm writing a book on 21st Century Media & Sports with a Focus on Media Literacy. My dream is to make this book available as a resource, to all youth aspiring to pursue careers in Sports and Media. The book will contain a variety of interviews with people like you that are willing to share their opinions, tips or advice to help youth understand the value of knowing in advance, how media can affect their lives and careers in our 21st Century society. I can use any help you're willing to provide that will put me in touch with any Professional Sports Player's Associations, Athletes, Media professionals, etc. that may be interested in support of this research. The content of the book will include Media Literacy concepts/awareness tips, research , helpful links, interviews in text format (transcribed from telephone/email contributions) and short videotaped interviews on a DVD (included in book). I’m asking for contributions (whatever you want to share from your own background / experiences) so that our youth can hear straight from the mouths of Media professionals, Athletes (M/F), coaches, Sports managers, Agents, etc. Your help will be highly appreciated and it will help make this book an asset to our youth for years to come. Recognition and credits will be included in the book for all those that contribute to it’s content.
