Black Men Living With HIV In America is a series that looks beyond the numbers and puts a face and a story to the numbers that we always hear about. What is it like to be HIV positive and a Black Man? Why are more ana more Black men becoming HIV positive? And is the prevention and outreach message the right or wrong message as we see an increase in younger Black males? Is the message reaching the target or not reaching the target and if not then what are we doing to change and target those Black men at a greater rick of infection? These are the question that we must ask so that we can move forward and maybe then reach the goal of zero new infections among the Black community.

Wednesday October 15, 6-9pm PCT
Special performance of DREAMSCAPE
Cesar Chavez Community Center Auditorium
2o60 University Ave. Riverside, CA
Dreamscape depicts the true story of the death and inner life of a young woman, "Myeisha Mills," who dreams through the impact of the twelve bullets that killed her. Through beat-boxing, spoken word and dance, the performance is structured around an autopsy report recited by a dispassionate coroner following the trajectory and impact of the bullets – each one triggering its own unique memory.
What does it mean to be post-racial? Does the election of President Obama prove that we as a country have moved beyond race? Is it our job as minorities to educate white people about our culture? Should black nationalist groups be considered hate groups alongside white nationalist groups? Is racism really over? These are just a few of the questions MC Brooks and Noa Jones will be exploring in the newest show of “The Breakbeat” on Tuesday, October 21st at 7PM CST/8PM EST.

Please join us Sunday at 10AM CST as we discuss we leadership, or the lack thereof, in the Black community.
Has the current leadership failed us? Why or why not?
Is it time for the current leadership to share the roles or vacate? It's not as though we need their permission.
What type of leadership is needed in the Black community?
Where do we start? Has the #Ferguson uprising ignited a kindling fire?
What do we need in terms of resources?
Who are our true allies? Have some of our trusted allies betrayed us?
Where are the Democrats?
Why are some wealthy Blacks telling us to stop protesting and go home?
Is prayer the answer?
Why is there a deafening silence in the secular community?
Why do some of these people take our loyalty for granted? Some feel entitled to it.
Is it time for a change? What? Who? Why?
Where do we go from here?
Why are the Millennials so important to this paradigm shift?
Let's talk about. Open discussion. Open chatroom this week.
