MADNESS MONDAY: MARIJUANA AND BLACK PEOPLE

Marijuana isn't for everybody, however for those who enjoy it I don't see a problem with it. Yes, our black men are being thrown in jails for years for having only a gram on them, but the question is why? Marijuana isn’t a harmful “drug” , in fact it grows from the ground and technically can be considered a plant. But WAIT, why is nasty ass cigarettes legal, but a joint isn’t? The problem is not with weed, the harmless plant, the problem is with the government who is always trying to control any and everything. FUCK THEM .

How do yall feel about marijuana? Do you think it has a negative effect on the black community?

Tonight we're hittin’ yall with 21 facts about Marijuana you never knew.

'Keys for Success Monday" Being a Black Entrepreneur in America

    in Finance

Regardless of race or ethnicity, entrepreneurs always begin at a disadvantage. However, blacks tend to need to reach levels of traction with our own money, since seed money is often unavailable. Worst of all, the sentiment against business owners comes from the top. Immediately after his State of the Union speech, President Obama embarked on a shame tour, giving speeches about how American workers are paid too little. Put aside that these companies employ people at a time of disturbingly high joblessness. Rather, the president and his union allies targeted businesses by promoting policies like higher minimum wages, even though there is no correlation that higher wages lead to job growth. One can make an easy argument that the opposite is true, but business owners have become the easy target. They must be wealthy, and therefore must be hurting our fellow citizens. Successful people know that they need to start Monday on a high note, so they take time on Sunday to plan ahead for the week. Set aside some time for yourself to check in on your schedule for the week ahead so that you know exactly what needs to be done first thing Monday morning. Make a list of events, meetings, or important things you need to do to keep momentum toward your goals. Another great idea is to make an "I did" list of things that you accomplished in the last week--this will keep you motivated and excited about pushing forward.

Madness Monday: Black Lives DO Matter

    in Entertainment

JUST ONE DAY AWAY UNTIL WE CELEBRATE MALCOLM X BIRTHDAY(May 19th). JOIN THE WORLD AS WE CLAIM MALCOLM X DAY AS A HOLIDAY BY DRESSING IN ALL BLACK, ONLY SUPPORTING BLACK BUSINESSES AND STAYING HOME FROM WORK/SCHOOL.

We still need donations for tomorrows CMXD event in LOS ANGELES donate to our paypal @ DymondsRadio@Gmail.com

Why are we separating the Black Lives Matter movement into Black Women Matter, or Black Men Matter ? That is the problem we have, we collectively build something together as ONE race only to end up separating because of GENDER. How do we fix this? How can we address both genders within the Black community without others trying to separate us?

    QUOTE OF THE NIGHT:

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” - Malcolm X

Madness Monday: The Exploitation of the Black Experience

    in Entertainment

Everybody seems to capitalize off the “Black experience” weather its in politics, entertainment or fashion. What, at one point or another, was seemed as ghetto, trashy or obnoxious is now socially acceptable.

We have black artist rapping as if their conscious but married to a woman who's NOT of color.
We have politicians who only come out in public when the dollar is right.
We have other black artist creating fashion lines called “Niggas in Paris.”

...But yet we have nobody doing anything about this. Just as we have “activist” and protest when a black person is killed wrongfully, why can't we do the same when a coon ass nigga decides to play house with his massa and flip on his people?

The next time a black celebrity does something we ALL need to hold that person accountable and bring to light how they fucking up their own people

Question of the Night: Do you believe that we can change lives by speaking out when our own people use our struggle as a means to gain more money and fame?

Madness Monday: Black Women & Insecurities

    in Entertainment

It seems as if black women will do anything for attention lately. Social media, especially Instagram, has made it very difficult for women of all races to feel beautiful. With all these half naked women on social media it makes the rest of the females feel as if they need to do the same in order to fit it. Its all about who has the most likes and/or comments these days. Nobody cares to look past the outer beauty anymore because society has conditioned them to believing the only ones worthy are the ones with fat asses and big boobs.

This is some shit I don’t have time for.

Women are always complaining about how they get treated by men, but these women allow men to treat them this way. Why? Because they are insecure and lost.

I want to discuss why black women feel the need to fit in when we are the ones who set the trend for the rest of the world to follow. We have to start showing these Princesses out here what it takes to look and be a Queen, its start with thyself!

Madness Monday: Can We Save "Black America" ?

    in Entertainment

Topic Of The Night: Can We Save Black American?

I had a conversation where things got heated because I stated I was going to be the one to save “Black America”. He doesn't believe this is possible,  he believes black people are destroying the world and we wont ever have shit.

    So, this got me thinking…

My question to my people is…  Are we just going to give up? If thats the case, what is the purpose of knowing this information and never doing anything with it? Are we suppose to just live this life and wait to die? Or are we suppose to gather with other conscious thinkers and move out the country?

    MAN FUCK ALL THAT!

Were supposed to be out here self educating and teaching those that do not know. Were suppose to discuss problems of Black America and come up with solutions. Were suppose to do everything we can so our future generations can be set.

So my question to my people is, what is your purpose on this Earth? Lets have a conversation and discuss some solutions!

Madness Monday: How Reality Shows Influence Black People

    in Entertainment

The Dymonds Radio Show Presents Madness Monday: How Reality Shows Influence Our People

Have you noticed how destructive and careless our people have become? We can blame it on today’s music yes, but entertainment ESPECIALLY “reality shows” are influencing how our people are acting and looking at themselves. It seems like the younger generation (for a lack of better words) JUST GIVE NO FUCKS about pretty much anything and thats a problem. Our people don't care about what's important to their survival in amerikka but they show interest in shit that hasn't been relevant to them in the past nor the present. If we don't stop allowing the media and entertainment to control our minds, we will most definitely have a problem in the future as well.

Call in tonight and lets discuss the influence of reality shows like Love and Hip Hop on our people.

Tune in at 10 PM PST and call in @ (347) 996-5750 PRESS 1 if you want to voice your opinion.
