by Stories We Live By in Psychology
Tags: Metaphorical Illnesses Metaphorical Therapy Replacing judgments with descriptions Changing Life Stories Love and Creativity

It seeks to help suffering people to replace such judgments with genuine descriptions that produce understanding into the reasons for self-defeating actions, self-inflicted misery and unhappy relationships. Psycho'therapy" alllows people to change the stories they live by and the characters within them to ones more loving, creative, and happy.

Guest is advocate Brent Pudsey from Manitoba, Canada.
This show highlights the stories, arts, and activism, and advocacy of folks with brain injuries and other disabilities. It's not a show about medicine, research or rehabilitation. We want to know how you explore day to day life with brain injury. And we want to use our stories to connect with the larger disability community.
