Spit Game is back but our co-host, Daniel Trawick is away this week. In pinch-hitting for Trawick is our special guest co-host, Chad Higgins, from Winchester, KY. Higgins is an elementary school teacher and has two sons. He also is a musician and has a gospel recording group, Chad Higgins and In Spirit & In Truth.
Join Higgins and MPRN co-founder, Danielle Wright, as they unwrap the mystery of the upcoming NFL and NCAA seasons, including a discussion on Michael Sam's departure from the NFL and the National Labor Relations Board ruling that Northwestern football players cannot unionize. And of course, with the college football season beginning, there will be the all too early discussion on the upcoming NCAA Basketball Season.

I guess interviews run in cycles. For the longest time All Joey was booking were Drummers it seemed, and all of sudden it's a run on Bass Players. Legendary Bass Player Mr. Billy Sheehan (Winery Dogs, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, etc.) will be my special guest this coming Thursday Night. I am a huge Winery Dogs fan (saw them live at Eddie Trunk's 30th Anniversary party) and I was blown away. I cannot wait to talk to Billy about the latest on this band and of course his side project (ha ha) Mr. Big.
Dom Guinta returns with his latest installment of The "Raider Training camp report" and Senior Music editor Jeff Tolwinski, is back with his usual wit and charm with his CD review.
We will talk Jets and Giants pre-season openers and all of the big stories currently in the NFL.
Yanks and Mets both atop their divisions at this late stage of the season seems unusual but it remain that both are playing well and control their own destinies at this time.
Finally we will have all the latest music news and stories for your listening pleasure, so tune in this Thursday eveneing at 6:30 pm to hear all of this and more. Tune to blogtalkradio.com and search "Hard Rock n Sports"
Keep on Rockin'
In May during Brandon Santini’s “Beale Street Mess-Around”, Pat Robertson bid on, and won the chance to co-host Music on The Couch. Along with co-hosting, she selected the two musical guests and will be assisting me in the interviews.
Now, I don’t know much about Pat, but we will remedy that next Monday.
HER TWO GUESTS???
Oh, sorry, yup that would be Harmonica Player Billy Watson, out of California. He is leader of Billy Watson and the International Silver String Submarine Band is an improvisational, all-star cast of musicians, hand-picked from the California music scene. And our second guest is Harmonica Player Charlie Musselwhite; Blues Hall Of Fame Inductee, Multiple BMA Winner and a Couch Kid to boot!
I love doing these show because it means we raised money for a good cause.

Short Bio Maria Higgins
People Development Expert, Maria Higgins, broke away from years of being deathly afraid of standing in front of people and socializing because of being so shy and introverted. She spent years living beneath her purpose because of fear. Eventually, Maria discovered a way to confront her fear and found her passion as a trainer, speaker, minister and coach. She was a corporate IT trainer for over 20 years in companies such as Coca-Cola, American Cancer Society and the CDC until she founded Clear Steps Group, Inc. to expand her own programs. She has been referred to by her audiences as "Passion in Motion".
