Born in a small east Texas town, Ricky found the love and gift of music, singing the Gospel in his church. Ricky broke out on the country music scene in the early 90‘s with his self entitled album, Ricky Lynn Gregg, which featured, “If I had a cheatin’ heart”, and, “can you feel it.” Gregg went on to release two other albums, and in 1993, was Billboards #4 in their Top New Country Artist of the Year. Big Dog Radio Welcomes Musician Cole Childers, & Heavyweight fighter David Rodriguez
Tune in this Thursday, July 10th @ 5 PM CST, as Big Dog Radio welcomes singer/songwriter Cole Childers to the program. Cole, who hails from Washington, is not only a talented musician, but he also served in the Navy.
In 2005 Childers formed Virginia Beach-based band Chasing Corona. The band’s first single, “Sand to Stone” received widespread critical acclaim and quickly became a favorite on several regional radio stations.
With Chasing Corona’s ‘Black Eye and Candlelight’ release the band produced enough local interest that The Pilot reported on the making of their “Sand to Stone” music video which was partially filmed on a military base with permission from the Navy. In early 2014 Childers entered Soul Haven Studios in Virginia Beach, VA to begin work on what would become his debut solo release, Aurora.

Jared Cole of Surrender the Fall, returns to Big Dog Radio

Big Dog Radio Welcomes David Rodriguez
Today at 2 PM CST, Big Dog Radio will welcome heavyweight boxer, David “Nino” Rodriguez 36-1 (34 KO’s) to the program. Hailing from the Lone Star State, the once beaten hard hitting heavyweight has stopped thirty-four of his thirty-seven opponents, twenty-four of his foes have fallen in the opening round. All though David suffered the first loss of his fifteen year career, the El Paso native is looking to get back in the win column. Aside from fighting in the ring, Rodriguez is also a motivational speaker, and is now speaking out against bullying, in an Anti Bullying campaign.
