The Lord showed me, and there were two baskets of figs set before the temple of the Lord, after Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, King of Judah, and the princes of Judah with the craftmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

Some may believe the Easter Bunny is the bearer of all things sweet, delicious, and right with the world. This holiday doesn’t have to induce so much sugar that you'll have to check your blood sugar levels three times three times in one day. Instead, fill those baskets with some healthy alternatives. (Yes, veggies and fruit are included, but rest assured that chocolate still has a strong presence.)

And, it's probably a good idea to give everyone a nutricious breakfast before diving into those Easter baskets & heading out the door! How do you find the time to prepare breakfast, let alone eat it?

This is also perfect for after church brunch! You can find a link to this recipe by clicking HERE!
Believers, if you are not feeding your spiritual man on God's word, you have become anorexic. Wanting to be like and look like every body else, instead of who God has made you and I to be.You purposely heae up the word of God to be like other, not realizing the damage you are doing to yourself. Thin, lacking spirit or sincere effort. flimsy, fragile, lacking substance. This is just were the enemy wants you..
You can feed your spirit man or you can feed your flesh. Which side wins in your life – your spirit or your flesh? Probably whichever one you feed more! You get good at walking in the Spirit the same way you get good at walking in the flesh – practice! Michael Jordan did not become the success he is without practice. He was even told that he would not be a good player, but so a man thinketh so is he. I am sure that made him more determined.
Walking in the Spirit is the same way; the more you practice, the better at it you get. II am sure Jordan missed many baskets, but he did not give up, he kept on practing. . The more you pray, the easier it gets. The more you read the Word, the easier it gets to read the Word without your head distracting you about all the things you need to get done. The opposite of anorexic is FAT. FAITHFUL, AVAILABLE AND TEACHABLE. Let's get started, are you ready?
This episode is part of our FINANCIAL FIERCENESS!™ series! This series integrates our financial goals into our development plan for surpassing our goals. This episode is, “Never have only one income stream! DIVERSIFY! (Baskets of Money)”
Diversify: to change (something) so that it has more different kinds of people or things
Option 1) No Diversification/ Only 1 income stream:
You have a full time job with a large company. You earn $3,700 USD gross per month. After taxes and other mandatory withholding, you have $2,600 USD per month (your net take home pay). Out of this amount you have to pay all of your necessary bills (utilities, etc.) and ideally you should save a percentage (15% or more is suggested). Then the “extra” leftover money is yours to use at your discretion for fun (entertainment, dining, etc.). You lose your job (layoffs, the firm goes out of business, etc.). Your income is now $0 USD per month. What do you do?
Option 2) Diversification/ More than 1 income stream:
You have a full time job with a large company. You earn $3,700 USD gross per month. After taxes and other mandatory withholding, you have $2,600 USD per month (your net take home pay). In addition, you have 5 rental properties (paid for with no mortgages). The total rental income is $6,000 USD per month. The necessary bills (property tax, insurance, etc.) total $1,850 per month. Your income (for your business or yourself depending on how you structure the ownership of the properties) is $4,150 per month. After taxes (which will vary depending on how you structure owning the properties), and other expenses (maintenance, repairs, etc.), the amount left is $2,500 USD per month. Your total income each month is $2,600 wages + $2,500 income from rental properties. You lose your job. Your income is now $2,500 per month.
Which option do you prefer?

Lots of ground covered on today's program -- a mom whose son becomes upset when he gets hurt phsyically, an emailer who noticed that the CPS model has moved from "baskets" to "Plans," from emergent to proactive, and from "compromising" to problem-solving -- but the most moving email came from a mom whose son is still being placed in restraint and seclusion at school.

Jeremiah 24:1-3 (KJV)
1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Even after the success of her best friend's wedding, Corinne still thinks the idea of getting married is insane while Krystyna's period is making her (and everyone around her) go insane. This week, after the girls answer #fucker letters from a strong black woman who doesn't understand what white guys are more intimidated by -- the strong or the black -- and a self-proclaimed 'fat slut', they sit down with comic and ordained minister, MARIBETH MOONEY. MARIBETH is a 50+ cougar who officiates weddings, but has never had or wanted one of her own and her stories of fucking the tax man, finding out her boyfriend was gay during a threesome and starting off life as a suffocated chubby Catholic girl leave Corinne & Krystyna begging for more. OTHER TOPICS INCLUDE: Derek Jeter's one-night stand gift baskets, school administration comparing girls in leggings to prostitutes and finding out what the fuck a Today Sponge is.
