Buccaneers, Corsairs, Explorers, Pirates, Privateers, and Much More

    in Culture

Piracy is typically an act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. The term can include acts committed on land, in the air, or in other major bodies of water or on a shore. It does not normally include crimes committed against people traveling on the same vessel as the perpetrator (e.g. one passenger stealing from others on the same vessel). The term has been used throughout history to refer to raids across land borders by non-state agents.

Piracy or pirating is the name of a specific crime under customary international law and also the name of a number of crimes under the municipal law of a number of states. It is distinguished from privateering, which is authorized by national authorities and therefore a legitimate form of war-like activity by non-state actors. Privateering is considered commerce raiding, and was outlawed by the Peace of Westphalia (1648) for signatories to those treaties.

Those who engage in acts of piracy are called pirates. In the 21st century, the international community is facing many problems in bringing pirates to justice. ~ Courtesy of Wikipedia.org

EGUA - Marketplace: Aborofo - White Slaves - 300 Year Barbary Slave Trade

    in Education

In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace, we address the 300 year Barbary Slave Trade wherein over 2 million white christians where enslaved in North Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) and the Mediterranean by white and non-white muslims between the 16th and 19th centuries of the gregorian calendar. Just as the pseudo-religion of islam and the fictional god 'allah' has been ineffective regarding western eurasian domination of europe and parts of the so-called 'middle east' over the past few centuries, so was the pseudo-religion of christianity and the fictional god 'jesus' ineffective and impotent - thus being unable to 'save' white christians from being enslaved by muslims for 300 years. This speaks to the reality that the enslavement of Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the western hemisphere had nothing to do with our not submitting the the fictional gods 'allah' and 'jesus'.

We examine the trustory in relation to the differences between eurasian notions of 'trade and commerce' and Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) approaches to legitimate trade and commerce rooted in our Ancestral Culture as shown via our OKOM - Economic Development Model.

Without PIRATE & INTERNET RADIO Stations,Reggae would NOT have reached WORLD

    in Music

Without PIRATE & INTERNET RADIO Stations,Reggae would NOT have reached WORLD

Live Chat :With out PIRATE & INTERNET RADIO Stations Reggae would NOT have reached  WORLD Pirate radio can be something of a mystery, maybe even an unknown term but for many it played a huge part in their lives. From the listeners who eagerly tuned in religiously to hear fresh dubplates, where the latest events were being held, to draw from the electric energy provided by a combination of DJ’s and MC’s to the station owners who spent countless hours providing an essential service while risking their life at times to keep the airwaves connected.

Jungle stations were something of education to the masses, especially as the sound was so fresh in the early 90’s. Many have fond memories of hearing brand new dubplates on the airwaves and tracking it down weeks later from a tape recording, others were just content with hearing a vocal shout out after calling the station, and yes this was before the art of texting came into play.

The Eric Priest Show - The Very First One

    in Current Events

And thank you for taking the time to read my info. First off allow me to introduce myself. Some of you know me in the Rennfest work as a pirate named Scruffy... Others know me via my online sports commentary - Eric's Sports.  That's who this is. My real name is Eric Bujak....but who the hell can remember that name, much less spell it, or /shudders... pronounce it correctly.... So that name was out in regards to  creating a radio show. There was a time, earlier in my life when I almost legally changed my name to Eric Priest - this is because I was raised by my mother and grandmother and Priest was my grandmother's last name. Eventually I met my father and decided to rule that idea out. But now I have another use for it - The Eric Priest Show.

So what type of show am I doing ? The Eric Priest show, has been inspired by such broadcasting legends as Howard Stern, Charlie Rose, Charles Lipton (Inside The Actor's Studio), Morton Downey Jr, Robin Quivers, etc...... Basically it is a commentary show, filled with interviews, views of current events, etc. Obviously 2 major areas of interest - Festivals and Sports....It will include music, some comedic bits, etc... and of course interviews. One day, I will be advertising my guests via social media, there will be replays of my show available on Youtube..... and I will be relevant...........

As for music.... a combination of local cover bands and celtic rock / Renaissance Festival music..... unless of course I can land on radio station that pays so that I can play whatever I like.
