Tonight we are talking about Men on the Down Low.....
First of all the term ‘Down Low’ seems to refer only to black men. Secondly, the ‘DL’ phenomenon is about black men who are sexually attracted to other men, and this is still a hugely controversial subject in certain communities. Another interesting observation is that the term ‘DL’ is used by ‘DL’ men themselves in classified sections of the US press, or online right here in the United Kingdom.
The real question is why don’t these men call themselves ‘gay’ or ‘bisexual’? And… why don’t these men let their partners know they are attracted to men as well as women?
Would you know a Bi Sexual Man if you met him?
Apart from the serious risks to the women’s Health and wellbeing, what about the lies, the lack of Integrity and respect?
