Part 2 of the Native America Music and Musicians
by WhispernThunder in News
Tags: native american music Steven Clawson Whisper n Thunder musicians
Part 2 of the Native America Music and Musicians The Americas contain hundreds of native communities, each with its own distinctive history, language, and musical culture. These communities—although united in placing music at the centre of public life—have developed extraordinarily diverse and multifaceted performance traditions. In latter years, Native Americans have created a special niche in the music industry and within that niche have sprung a number of Native American Musicians and Genres.
This week hostess Lisa Sahani, WnT Board Member is joined by musical guest Steven Clawson. There is a SPECIAL SURPRISE planned during the show, so join us live!!
South Georgia native Steven Clawson is a blues, rock n’ roll and country which are on the same beat. That beat, mixed with a little Cajun roots brings a sound that Steven and his fans like to call “Southern Soul”. Steven’s love of music and performing began at an early age, with much encouragement from his family. He grew up in Thomasville, Ga., playing guitar and singing along to Garth Brooks. He decided to pursue his dreams and love for music by moving to Nashville with his wife, who he met in first grade. Steven also has a passion for songwriting, which has developed from being an avid reader. His musical influences include Elvis Presley, Kenny Loggins and his favorite country singer, Brooks.

The actual title of this episode is "Flying Saucers, Ghosts, Puckwudgies, Bigfoot, Mermaids and Musicians." A little long for what Blogtalk will accept...
This is a special three-hour episode, which spans two different Blogtalk shows. Our guest is Jeff Ritzmann, who visits with us again, this time to have discussion about why artists in general and musicians in particular have such a procilivity towards having what would be considered paranormal experiences.
We are live on our show from 8-10pm eastern, AND live on Jaime Fritze's Into the Unknown show from 9-11pm, so there's a one hour overlap between 9 and 10, where we'll be on two Blogtalk shows simultaneously!
