Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1233

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Barbara Ochoa from San Francisco, a returning NAASCA family member who's Executive Director at Help4Guys.org. Barbara's here once again to talk about the events that are planned in celebration of "Male Abuse Awareness Week" (MAAW) which is held each year during the first week of December. MAAW is an awareness campaign that was started by the P. Luna Foundation in 2008, and the website is an extension of that program. The main focus is to change the negative social stigma that goes along with the topic of males who are victims of sexual or emotional abuse and domestic violence. "Most abused males avoid therapy and treatment because they are too ashamed or afraid of being judged for doing so," according to the web site. "By bringing the subject to light once a year we hope to make this topic more socially acceptable and in return more men will feel comfortable enough to seek the help they desperately need but in many cases avoid." Since the awareness campaign's inception in 2008 we at NAASCA have been pleased to participate hand-in-hand with Barbara Ochoa, and Bill Murray has appeared at several of the live events. We too want to help men who were victims of past abuse break their silence, in order to inspire younger men into getting treatment. Like Barbara, we have seen more and more celebrities come forward and many more news stories reporting on males who are victims of abuse.

    in Politics

Tonight we will discuss the exact meaning of what it is that the black masses are seeking in their attempt at arena sports.  Could our behavior be linked to the violent nature in which Malcolm and our other leaders died have awakened a  primeval stance in our minds? As a people have we lost the ability to see humanity has gone far astray because we have not really achieved justice for our fallen? Have we really turned a blind eye to the Murder of our Beloved leader? “In America, we give maximum  expression to our blood lust in the mass spectator sport of boxing. Some of us are Roman enough go admit our need of the sport.  Others pretend  to look the other way.  but when a heavyweight champion fight rolls around, the nation takes a moral holiday and we are all turned in some of us peeping out of the corner of our eye at the square jungle and the animal test of brute power unfolding there.

Every institution  in America is tainted by the mystique of race, and the question of masculinity is confused by the presence of both a white man and a black man here.  One was  the master and the other was the slave until a moment ago when they both were declared to be equal men; which leaves American men literally without a unitary, nationally viable self-image.  Whatever dim vision of masculinity they have is a rough and ready, savage mishmash of violence and sexuality, and dichotomized exercise and worship of physical force/ submission to and fear of physical force which is only one aspect of the broken down relationship between mean and women in America.  This is an era when the models of manhood  and womanhood have been blasted to dust by social upheaval, and the most alienated males and females at the bottom of society move out of their place and bid for their right to be man and woman on an equal basis with the former masters and mistresses." SOUL ON ICE,  Eldridge Cleaver.

    Unpacking The Word Love

    in The Bible

The most overused word in the English language is the word "love". People attach the word love to almost everything. I love my car. I love my cat. I love my dog. I love you. But what is love? What is this experience that everyone talks about but is rarely expressed.  We must answer that question because we see more actions of hate in our world than love. People are killed everyday on our streets. The radical terrorist group called Isis are cutting off the heads of Christians in the middle east. Racist police are killing young black males at will. Yet we use the word love as though we really love. We don't really love because natural love, or romantic love starts off with a bang, but has no sustaining power as witnessed in this country's high divorce rate. Love is a feeling but so much more. People jump from one relationship to another looking for a feeling rather than real love. So, what is real love? Lets talk about it.

Join us as we discuss the impact of living in an increasingly egalitarian society. How does the change in the view of roles for males and females impact what has traditionally be considered masculine and feminine? Are the changes arbitrary or completely necessary, especially in heterosexual relationships, which are most impacted by these changes? Is society better off with these changes? Or does our society require clear boundaries for male and female expectation? Call in and add your thoughts to what promises to be a riveting discussion.

    God Loves His Daughters

    in Prayer

The Love of God is available for every human being on this earth. When mistakes are made by males or females, this does not stop God from projecting His love to all man kind. It does not matter how many times you mess up, curse someone, fight, do drugs, or even commit murder, you are still eligible to receive God's love.

To Hell In A Damn Hand Basket We Go!

    in Romance

Today’s Culture seems to clearly promote the blurring or even eradicating of the lines when it comes to the conventional and traditional gender roles of males and females. Between the current dances, dressing styles, terminologies & slangs (Like girls saying “Bra!” and Guys calling other guys “Bae”) etc! What started as “Metro Sexual” has demonized into the youth diggin a “flexible” artist like Young Thug?!?

The overall appropriation and promotion of the homosexual agenda in today’s culture! The complete breakdown of the two parent household in the black community! Sisters (and black people for the most part) strongly subscribing to the disposition that they “don’t need no man!” or that being with the actual father of their children is all that critical for the healthy rearing of children in general!

The new inverted perspectives about the male vs female sexual prowess. Women are just as horny or cheat as much as men!

The Helios Biblios Hour (Book of the Sun) Ancient Egyptian Sexual Ankhing

    in Current Events

Sex, and specifically the orgasm, is more that just something that feels good and allows procreation. There are many other functions, such as the release of dysfunctional energy within the body, which can help to keep one from becoming diseased. There is the function that opens the higher chakras, and under the right conditions allows a person to begin the process of enlightenment. And further, if two people, lovers, practice sacred sex, the entire experience can lead them together into higher consciousness and into worlds beyond this plane. It was believed in ancient Egypt that the orgasm was the key to eternal life, and that it was intimately connected with the chakra system. A chakra is an energy vortex connected to the entire human energy field, and the Universal Heart Chakra is the fifth of thirteen chakras. (There is also a system of eight chakras; in that system, the heart chakra is number four.) The Egyptian system held that the orgasm was intimately connected to this fifth, or Universal Heart Chakra. Most people in the world are ignorant about what happens to their sexual energy after they have an orgasm. Usually, the energy moves up the spine and out the top of the head directly into the eighth or thirteenth chakra (same chakra, different system). In a few rare cases, the sexual energy is released down the spine into the hidden center below the feet, the point opposite the one above the head. In either case, the sexual energy — the concentrated life-force energy called prana in Hinduism — is dissipated and lost. The Egyptians believed that orgasm is healthy and necessary, including the release of sperm in males, but that the sexual energy currents must be controlled in a deeply esoteric procedure that is unlike any other system. They believed that if this energy is controlled, the human orgasm becomes a source of infinite pranic energy that is not lost. They believe that the entire Mer-Ka-Ba or lightbody.
