What is happening in PA? There is a huge man hunt underway, No Bail Bondsman invited.
There is also a very interesting court case meandering its way through the system, this case will be of interest to everyone in the Bail Bond industry.
We will aslo be discussing some of the more colorful stories of the week. When the police failed to take two fugitives into custody one enterprising Recovery Agent drove them to the court house and hand cuffed them to the door!
The bonding profession is a feast or famine business. But when the feast is on, it good! You woun't believe the reasons people want to be a bondsman. I'll share some of those and review todays bail news from around the country.

Press for Democracy (P1FD) is a Coffee Party Radio show that discusses the political issues of the day in a civil, fact-based, and transpartisan manner. Transpartisan is quite different from bi- or non-partisan in the we encourage callers to be passionate about their positions, but also that they listen and respond to those with differing points of view respectfully and with a true desire to find common ground on which solutions can be built.
Tonight on P1FD . . .
Who is going to bail out Main Street – and when?
As we approach the midterm elections and look forward to 2016, my only question is this: “Who is going to bail out Main Street, and when?” The crash of 2008 sent the vast majority of Americans into a financial tailspin. As reported in the NY Times in March of 2009, “For the full year, household wealth dropped $11.1 trillion, or about 18 percent.” The next biggest annual decline in wealth came in 2002, when household net worth fell a measly 3%!
Of course, those too-big-to-fail Wall Street institutions got their bailout courtesy of their “bought-and-paid-for” DC minions. And thanks to substantial subsidies and low interest rate loans, within three quarters, corporate profits were already above pre-crash levels. Meanwhile, there was, and still is no help in sight for the victims of the Wall Street Schemers and the Off-shoring Mega-corps. Or is there?
Tonight on Press for Democracy, we want to hear who you think, if anyone cares enough not just to campaign on (a.k.a. lie like every elected politician in the past decade), but actually pursue policies to help get Middle-Class Americans back on their feet. And as always, if you can’t make the show, please leave your feedback here and we’ll read you into the record.
This week on the program we will be talking about some of the more colorful aspects of the world of Bail Bonds. Last week Aris Chris Varellan was finally captured after a a hunt that had lated for months. It is a very interesting story. This is just one of several recent cases that we will be discussing.
There was also a very curious court ruling made in New Mexico this week on the subject of Bail Bonds, You will not want to miss that segment.
The world of Bail Bonds is a complex one. This week on the program we will be looking at several aspects. Sonoma California has decided to change the rules, if these changes are replicated in other areas there could be seious implications to the industry. Joining the panel this week will be Dale Miller, owner of Romelli Bail Bonds in Somona to offer his views.
If I was a cynic, I might be tempted to think that in some ways this move is tied to the Pre Trial Release initiative,
Another subject up for discussion is state to state extradition. Lets face it, its a mess.
The world of a Bailbondsman is certainly an interesting one. Joining me on air will be Recovery Agents William Cobra Staubs and Matt Todd together with Bail Bond Agent Nancy Kelly.
The industry seems to be in a state of flux, There are some that fear that state initiatives such as Pre Trial Release may be marking the Death Knell of the industry. This makes no sense for tax payers, it makes no sense for law enforcement, and it makes no sense for many people caught up in the PTR system. From a cynical point of view, it might be viewed as guilt without due process.
