Graduated HS and went to college for a few years and it just wasn't for me at that time so I decided to join the Army in March of '95. I joined the Infantry and did the Real Soldier thing first. Then in 2002 I changed to HR Specialist, then I was transferred from my unit to a unit that was deploying to Iraq. I was active for @3 yrs total for that deployment 12months in Baghdad, then I was training Troops to go over for the remainder of that time. Since returning I went and became a Combat Medic. I made this choice because of what I had seen and wanted to do more for my brother's and sisters in arms. I now fight with what my doctor is classifying as Gulf War Syndrome, PTSD, TBI w/migraine headaches, agoraphobia, and a list of other thingsI I am still in the Army Reserves and I am finally going to start my medical board to be processed out of the service
