The Hunger Games franchise has been synonymous with many colors. President Snow’s white roses. District 12’s black coal mines. Katniss’s orange backpack, which we have popularized on this show in the past. Now, we add Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” to the spectrum and discuss the quality of its hue. We are chomping at the bit to know what YOU think about Lorde's song, so please leave a comment on our website!

The show starts by reading all of the Tweets that came in for the SWAG bag contest, lots of funny ones, picking a winner was a difficult task! Thanks to all who participated. We welcome our guest Vocab Malone of Backpack Radio and he was gracious enough to spend almost the whole show with us!. We learn about his ministry and church in downtown Phoenix Arizona and how he got started with Pastor Bob and Vermone on their podcast. He discusses his “feud” with Apologia Radio (all in good fun of course).
Vocab went on to talk about his history in the underground battle rap scene, how God is using Reformed Hip Hop and he even raps his testimony for us!
Len then soundly defeats Vocab in a game of “Good Tweet Bad Tweet” but we give him grace because he’s never played before.
We read listener feedback, announce our two winners of the SWAG bag contest and announced a new SWAG bag contest, and of course our podcast highlights are played throughout the show.

There is a program nationally that is trying to help these kids.
It’s called Blessings in a Backpack.
It provides elementary schoolchildren -- who are on the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program -- with a backpack of food to take home for 38 weekends during the school year.
It’s something you can do in your area.
The mission is without saying, but in order to make this successful we need everyone to come together on July 26th.Giving always gives back. Who will join us? Trinity QReese Cell: 661.607.3035 Ph:888.246.2991 Fx: 888.246.2651 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The mission at hand is to team up with minority own businesses, nonprofits, churches and like minded individuals across the U.S. to host the largest Backpack Giveaway on July 26, 2014. To-date, we have 15 states on board. We're hoping many will share the vision for one day and put money matters, politics, etc. aside, support the mission and empower students from low income families. We understand the importance of partnership with businesses and organizations in our communities to better meet the needs we're addressing.
We need Event Host Coordinators. A coordinator will pick the hosting location and host event. Hosts receive a $500 cash donation and Free IPAD. Please note, Free IPAD is given when hosting location meets the goal of 2500 backpacks.
Did you know, approximately sixteen million students across the U.S., go without basic school supplies every year. In many cities as much as 90% of their students qualify for free and reduced meal plans. That is an alarming number; the highest percentage includes minority students. We have a great need to equip our community students with the basic essentials for students to access.

Qatar Awareness Campaign: What and Why?
The State of Qatar is one of the preeminent sponsors of terrorism in the world today. The Qatari ruling family, the al-Thanis, also operate a virtual slave state, exploiting foreign workers while routinely withholding their pay, and even denying them exit visas. The Qataris have numerous links to the Taliban, as well as the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence Agency; they are the financiers and financial recipients of Boko Haram's terrorist and smuggling activities. In the years preceding 9/11, Qatar was host to 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohamed. Finally, the government of Qatar has been a prominent supporter of the Syrian rebels, including the rebels who have become the genocidal Islamic State.
The Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition is an ad hoc group of journalists, retired military, publishers, and activists who are helping to spread awareness concerning the influence of Qatar - a state sponsor of terrorism - in the United States. The Coalition consists of several experts on matters such as national security, Islamic terrorism, and transnational organized crime. Its members consider the Qatari influence on American foreign policy to be a major threat to national security and world peace. There are many articles of potential interest, but this may be a good place to start because it ties Qatar in with the Pakistani ISI and the Mumbai mafia. Visit this website to learn
