There is power in prayer!!!!!!!!!!!! call in with all your prayer needs!

    in Radio

We are told that that “prayer was made without ceasing...” The word “ceasing” means “to stretch forth”. It is a medical term that refers to a stretched ligament or a pulled muscle. It has the idea of “going beyond the boundaries”. When applied to prayer, it is a picture of fervency. It is the picture of people pouring out their hearts in prayer before the Lord as they seek His face for their needs. That’s the kind of praying we need to undertake. The promise of God is that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous men availeth much,” James 5:16. The words “effectual fervent” refer to “energetic passionate” prayer. It is not prayer that is sluggish, lifeless, unconcerned, casual, halfhearted, blasé and apathetic; it is prayer that pours forth from a burdened heart. That kind of prayer reaches heaven and moves the hand of God.

Race Relations Greatest Breakdown Stems From Institutional Racism

    in Religion

Racism is the enemy in America that will continue to grow until Whites who don't respect Blacks can unleast call a truce. Only with respect will there be an ability to communicate. Race relations in America is filled with rage and ignorance is the root of the rage. All the many things being used to divide this nation can be easily resolved if everyone would lay down their swords and begin to speak to and not at one another with no repercussions. God says: If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land 2Chronicles 7:14

Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

When attempts made to resolve racial issues leaves God out, then it is not in God's will. With 9 of ever 10 Americans confessing Christianity as their religion of choice, including God should be no problem. Once we can talk with open minds surely they can solve the issue of race relations once and for all. Leviticus 26:7-8 reads: But you will chase your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword; five of you will chanse a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. Race relations greatest breakdown stems from institutional racism.

    REVIVE US AGAIN

    in Prayer

The Biblical record shows that there was a specific time when people began to call upon GOD by the name of LORD. Sin, sufferering and unrighteousness had begun to leave its mark on families. It was not long before it became obvious that prayer for revival and spiritual awakening is the only real hope for persons, families, and nations. We're seeking to deepen our prayer, increase our understanding so our hearts are more fully aligned with GOD'S heart. GOD'S will for every believer is effective prayer for revival and spiritual awakening, "the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).

He concludes, "Jesus has opened a school, in which He trains His redeemed ones, who specially desire it, to have power in prayer."  Prepare to take your prayer life to the next level as we pray the word of God. PUSH MY STORY WITH PASTOR LIVINGSTON, CHRISTIAN RADIO ICON

    in Christianity

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). I’m sure you’re familiar with this verse of Scripture. You’ve read it often. You may even have it memorized. Yet, this verse seems far from daily reality, especially concerning your prayer life and mine. I’m sure, that like me, you’ve been a little bit intimidated by this verse of Scripture. It’s a powerful verse – an amazing promise. But, my prayers “avail” much? Me, a “righteous” man? It seems beyond me – out of my reach. I’ve often struggled with this verse and my prayer life. Maybe you have too. Maybe you’re discouraged in your prayer life. You pray but your praying doesn’t seem to live up to what James 5:16 says it can be. You don’t feel like your prayers avail much.God gives it to us to encourage us and to motivate us to pray. It’s important not to divorce this verse from its context. When you see it in its context, it speaks to every genuine believer. It offers a life of prayer beyond what we can imagine.
