Researchers who study Parkinson's disease celebrate the discovery of medications that help some people reverse their symptoms. They also worry, as do I, about an unfortunately reality of their use. After Dani Walker's husband was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease known as Sarcoidosis, she had no idea what to do.
She watched as her husband suffered side effects from 6 different medications.
When the medications weren't working, she decided to think outside the prescription and use alternative methods to treat her husband's disease.
