Isaiah 53:1 asks, who hath believed our report? "our report" is a reference to that body of material making up the four investigative reports of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John: those four reports can be viewed as one report, as evidenced in the above question. What led to the investigation? Complaints against the Israelites led to the investigation: complaints from the LORD, as seen in the following statements: 1) Jer 8:10 - everyone from the least even to the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet to the priest everyone dealeth falsely; 2) Jer 9:15 - they will deceive everyone his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity; 3) Isa 53:3 - everyone of them is gone back: they are together become filty; there is none that doeth good, no, not one: that is echoed in Rom 3; 4) Hosea 5:7 - they have dealt treacherously against the LORD; 5) Hosea 4:10 - they have left of to take heed to the LORD; 6) Hosea 4:1 - hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.Last time we talked about Joseph. In this episode we will take a close look at Mary, to see what the report tells us about her. So I ask these things: is she (Mary) clean? is she pure? is she virtuous? Is she honest? Or, Is she hiding something? Join me.

Middletown, CT – Mary Verdick is the author of romance suspense novels for women, all written within the last 10 years. Her books Indian Time, Don’t Let the Good Life Pass You By, Maybe This Time, As Long As He Needs Me, That Certain Summer, and her most recent novel, Another Time, Another Place, are available online and at bookstores across the country.
A former teacher, Verdick served as editor for the Weekly Reader for 16 years, where she authored a series of acclaimed young adult novels, Pal Paperbacks, which can still be found in many school libraries.
“Writing for children is a unique skill. Not everyone can do that,” explains Verdick. “But writing for adults, you can explore ideas with more depth. But I never sat down and thought, ‘I’m going to write a woman’s romance suspense novel filled with intrigue.’ That’s just the way they turn out."
This April, Verdick published her latest novel, entitled Another Time, Another Place, a tale of two women and two love affairs two generations apart, eerily similar in hopes and intensity.
“I think it’s something you’re born with, a desire to write,” says Verdick. “I can immerse myself in the characters and the story. It’s a cathartic experience.”
