She received her seminary degrees at Kingsway Theological Seminary in Des Moines, Iowa and holds a Bachelor’s in both Theology and Christian Education as well as a Master’s and Doctorate in Christian Education. She’s currently a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Special Education with a graduation date of spring 2016.
Karla is also a pastor’s wife, mother of five, and grandma to seven little girls. She lives in Indiana with her pastor-husband, twin teenage sons with autism, a mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s, three dogs and two cats. When she’s not writing she’s riding her motorcycle and looking for treasure.

Short Bio: Allen D. Ray
A.D. Ray was born Allen Dale Ray in Texas in 1952 and his family moved around the Southwest until 1965 when they moved to central California. He went to high school and junior college there until he joined the military in 1974. In college he studied electronics and communications and in the military was a telecommunications specialist.
Allen’s interest in writing began at a very early age. He was an avid reader from the time he could hold a book. Stories about dinosaurs and space travel captured his attention and by age twelve Allen was writing short stories. He was encouraged in his efforts by his mother who taught him to type and bought him a Remington portable typewriter on which he penned his first attempt at a serious novel. Until his novel THE MAN FROM CYRENE all his work was in science fiction and avant-garde novels and short stories.

Ron Allen is married and the father of three children. Allen was the founder of the A. Allen Insurance Agency Ltd. in Chicago, IL. Allen, a graduate of Chicago State University, was a former business education teacher with the Chicago Public Schools. Allen joined the Allstate Insurance Co. in 1967, and was one of Allstate’s first African-American claim adjusters. Allen later became one of the first African-Americans promoted to Allstate Agent. Allen was an employee agent until 1999 and earned the prestigious designation of Senior Account Agent. Allen maintained an agency affiliation with the Allstate Insurance Companies for 42 years before his retirement in 2009. Allen’s insurance agency won several regional and national honors during his sales career.
Allen formerly was the co-host of “The Financial Forum” radio show broadcast on WVON 1690 AM in Chicago. Allen has served on the Allstate Foundation Regional Grant Committee, the Demicco Youth Center Board of Directors, and the DuPage County Crimestoppers Board of Directors, the Chicago State University Alumni Board, and the DuPage County Adult Probation Department Volunteers. Allen has served on the Board of Directors of the National African-American Insurance Association for eight years and was NAAIA’s 2009-2010 Chairman. Allen was awarded the 2009 "50 Men of Excellence Award" by the Chicago Defender Newspaper. In 2010, Allen was accepted as a Fellow in the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. In 2011, Allen was awarded the NAAIA Lifetime Achievement Award. Allen was elected as a Naperville Township Precinct Committeeman in the 2014 Illinois election. He was later appointed as the Election Judge Coordinator for Naperville Township. Allen also serves on the Board of Directors of the Quad County African-American Chamber of Commerce.

She has also lead self publishing workshops, writing, and publicity workshops for the New York City Parks Department, the National Writers Union, Project Enterprise, and other not for profits. Tywanda M.Brown was born and raised in Newberry SC. She is the proud mother of three boys. Her passion for writing developed at the young age of 11 with dreams of one day being a published author. Two years after graduating from Newberry College in the Spring of 2012 with a Business degree, she decided to make her dream come true. In the Fall of 2014 she released her debut book Love Games. Two months later she released Love Games 2: Love or Lust. In the winter of 2014 she released Literary Chick. Early spring 2015 she release Love and Snakes a book she co-authored with label mate Simply Shonda, her first anthropology Devils Daughters that she co-authored with CoCo Mixon,Simply Shonda, Dee Leshay and Nicole Shephard in late April 2015.
