The ORACLE Speaks With ... YOU!

    in Spirituality

Dynamic, exciting, and on fire for life Denise L. Cook, known as The ORACLE, brings insight to the internet. Her new show, The ORACLE Speaks, is a call in radio show. Inspired by the ORACLE's writing and motivated by your input. Whatever the subject, The ORACLE brings knowledge and a personal understanding to the table and leaves you feeling as if you have been hugged from the inside out.

It's my Bearthday! Well, yesterday, March 21, 2015 was my Bearthday and it was grand. I did something different for me; NOTHING. That's right. I stayed home, watched a couple series shows, hung out with my husband and had a relaxing day. something the ORACLE is not known for. I have to say it was a refreshing eperience to hang out with me for a change. I highly recommend it.

    this weeks Theme: DEDICATE

Be dedicated to your G-D, to yourself, to those you consider family and friends. Dedicate your life to the continual pursuit of an inner acceptance of the you you are.

Dedicate your time here on earth to the service of and for others. They say Jesus turned water to wine, washed feet and raised the dead; sounds like service to me.

Be dedicated to your plan for life. No matter how many times that pllan may change. Stay dedicated to the ultimate outcome of each of your decisions. When you dedicate yourself to making correct choices it becomes easier to dictate the outcomes in your favor.

Sapphire JBlue chats with Piper G. Huguley -Historical Romance & The Lawyer's L

    in Radio

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

    Oberlin, Ohio – 1844

Lawrence Stewart is a rare man. Raised with his grandmother’s Miami Indian tribe, as a Negro he has consistently walked between two worlds most of his life. He devotes his time and study to becoming a lawyer, fully intending to obtain justice for the ousted Miami Indians. No Negro man has accomplished these things before, but he is not daunted. He studies for his exams as he rides circuit through the backwoods of Ohio, handing out justice to people who cannot easily reach a courthouse. His life is perfectly set until one June day….

Aurelia “Realie” Baxter made her way from enslavement in Georgia to the free land Lake Huron in Ohio. Far from happy as a slave doing the bidding of a woman cooped up in a house all day, Realie is a bona fide tomboy with a special gift with horses. Now, she is so close to freedom in Canada, she can smell it, but her plans are interrupted when Lawrence shoots her…by mistake….

Lawrence cannot study encumbered with the care of an enslaved woman, but he’s responsible for her injury…

Realie wants to get to Canada, but Lawrence won’t let her get away in trying to help her…

One chance meeting can change your life from what you thought you wanted….to what you really need.

Fridays with Faith welcomes AMY LYLES WILSON

    in Spirituality

Writer and editor Amy Lyles Wilson believes it is the sharing of our stories that saves us. Toward that end, she facilitates workshops and retreats designed to encourage people to write their hearts out. Her main themes of interest are creativity, grief, and spirituality.

Wilson, a native of Mississippi now living in Nashville, Tennessee, has twenty-five years of experience in the publishing world, having worked for such industry innovators as Whittle Communications and Rutledge Hill Press. She has been a magazine columnist and blogger, and has co-authored or contributed to nine books. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications, and she holds degrees in English, journalism, and theology. Her essay “The Guts to Keep Going” was featured on National Public Radio’s “This I Believe.”

The death of her father, the man she calls “the first love of her life,” in 2000 took her breath away and caused Wilson to seek relief in the written word. In response, she is at work on a book about the serendipitous gifts of grief.

Wilson has been a contributor to Weavings: A Journal of the Christian Spiritual Life and The Spire, and a columnist for Her Nashville and the Northside Sun Magazine. She serves on the Advisory Council for the Dept. of Journalism at the University of Mississippi, and the board of Women’s National Book Association’s Nashville chapter.

This week's Theme fro The ORACLE Presents Ten Pages of Nothing But The Truth. Volume III, Truth #1 LAUGH

Laugh with your G-D, with yourself

and with those you consider family and friends.

Laughter sooths the soul and ignites the spirit with

glee. To laugh is to live, as laughter lengthens your

life; helps maintain a healthy immune system by

    increasing endorphins.

Laugh till you cry. Laugh for no reason. Laugh

when you’re sad, laugh when you’re mad. Laugh for

nothing at all. Laugh like the child you were and the

    child you need to be.

Laugh at yourself when you least expect to, at those

times when laughter is the furthest thing from your

intentions. Laugh with abandonment to what’s

right, breaking protocol. Laugh so loud G-d  and

the angels get to enjoy the heavenly chorus of your

laughter, pure and innocent, wise and lived. Laugh

    laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh.

The Fall-Socially Conscious Art Remembers the Holocaust Victims

    in Lifestyle

Please join Frankie Picasso host of  The Good Radio Network on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 at 1:00 pm est when she is joined by Julien Hanford, a Brithish  Artist/Photographer from London, England whose ambitious project titled "THE FALL" is his offering to the World, to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War 2.

THE FALL is an art installation and event to commemorate the genocide of six million civilian human beings during the course of the second world war.

The installation consists of 6 million domino tiles. These are arranged, stood on end, in a gigantic block measuring approximately 7,500 square metres. For 6 days they stand, marking the 6 years of the second world war, between 1939 – 1945.

At noon on the 6th day, they will be toppled, row after row, by the hand of a Concentration Camp survivor.

Says Julian, "To this day, I struggle to visualise this vast figure – it’s an abstract number, diluted by the passage of time. Around us in the intervening 40 years, we have also witnessed the re-ignition of the same racism and intolerance in the world that our species should have consigned to the waste bin of history. This is true to the point that there is an active movement now for the denial of the holocaust.

We also feel priviledged to be able to give our listeners a first listen to Mad World by Aurelia which is due to be released  by Amazon on 26th Feb!

Please join in this important conversation. We look forward to sharing this incredible story with you.

The ORACLE Speaks With ... YOU!

    in Spirituality

This show is dedicated to my Sister Bessie Maria Lyles. It is her Bearthday today. Were she alive today, she would be celebrating her 60th Bearthday on today. She had muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy. she never walked a day in her life and she taught meto dance. She was my best freiend in many ways. I related to her plight because of the abuse I was inflicted with. Not the same as not being able to walk and to dieing young, but a plight all the same. And she understood and helped me maintain my sanity in the midst of it all.

Also on today's show we welcome back Carmelita, President and Founder of the Rose Breast Cancer Society. She will be sharing about her upcoming Bearthday/ Fundraising Party at and for Elderberries Vegan Restaurant Santurary.

This week's Theme: PATIENCE from Volume I, Truth #3 The ORACLE Presents Ten Pages of Nothing But The Truth

Have patience with your G-D, yourself, with those you consider family and friends. Patience goes way beyond waiting your turn when you have something to say or waiting your turn in line. It means letting things play out even when you want it yesterday, right now and just can't wait.

They say G-D may not come when you want but is always on time. It's your level of patience that makes the wait bearable. The more patience you have the more bearable the pain, suffering, the degree of tials and tribulations that come with living.

Patience with your self and those you love requires an acceptance of the level of your and their capacitiy or lack there of. Be patient with what you can do and with that you can't, be patient with the time it takes to learn how.

    The ORACLE Speaks With ...YOU!

    in Spirituality

Happy valentine's Day Everyone. Love is always in the air when it comes to me. I love myself, I love G-D, I love most everyone.

This week's Theme: LOVE Truth #1, Volumme I, The ORACLE Presents Ten Pages of Nothing But The truth

Love your G-D, yourself, and love those you consider family and friends. Unconditionally. Unconditional love includes excepting the oddities, the little idiosyncrasies that drive you absolutely mad.

Loving yourself is the foundation for accepting the perfect you that you are. When you don’t love yourself it makes it almost impossible to love others in any capacity. When you love others more than you love yourself you are destined to a life of  disappointment and a lifetime of searching for the ultimate love that you already  possess.

Embrace the fear that comes with real love, complete love, blind love. Sometimes love does hurt and that’s  O.K. It’s better to have loved and lost… you know the saying. Be alive with the spirit and love of G-D. All-ways remember to Love Yourself.
