Despite exploding popularity, there is only so much room for technology providers in the telehealth and collaboration markets, according to Dan Klanderman, Senior Solutions Architect for Iron Bow Technologies. He predicts continued consolidation through acquisitions and even market exits in 2016.
To avoid being stuck with an obsolete technology, Klanderman suggests investing in collaboration technology from a long-term perspective. “Interoperability is key,” he said, and advises avoiding working with technology providers that create siloes or offer technology that doesn’t work well with other technology.
“Some providers actually design technology as a walled garden,” he shared. “I recommend avoiding that and finding technology that is interoperable with what you already have with a manufacturer that is committed to interoperability.”
Klanderman says that because hospitals, researchers and others in the industry must be able to reach out seamlessly to patients and each other, interoperability is key to growing with the market. He also pointed out that, like in the tech world, acquisitions and mergers are common in the healthcare industry. “You are just one acquisition away from becoming a multi-vendor environment,” he explained.
As a result, his motto for 2016 is to invest in a collaboration solution that can flex and grow with you.

The creation story in Genesis tells us that humans are created in the image of God. The Bible is the Christian's handbook to life and I guarantee that even today, it remains a relevant, practical guide to success - and the recipe for a healthier you.
Most things we buy come with instructions from the manufacturer, included is also a warranty or manufactures guarantee and promise. The Bible is our handbook, given to us from our creator. The sad thing is, many of us have never read it, or we read only sections and because of that, those sections are often understood out of context.
The Bible give instruction for abundant living, including warnings and possibilities.
I will be looking at In His Image: The Ultimate Bible Guide to a Healthier You from the following approaches:
You Can Be Better! What the Bible says about Restoration and Expansion
You can Feel Better. What the Bible says about Mindset, Vision and Impact.
You can Do Better. What the Bible says about Duty & Outcome

Rolling The Dice In Iowa. This was a day in which Donald Trump pulled out of the 'sanctioned' Republican debate. Des Moines was beset with a plague of TV trucks, politicians and rallies. Drake hosted two of these events, and after The Bob Davis Podcasts were denied media credentials for the 'sanctioned' Republican debate, we took to waiting in line for our tickets like everyone else. Rand Paul's event at Drake was smaller - no lines snaking around the block - but no less enthusiastic. Paul appeared, and spoke for about 25 minutes about liberty, freedom and The Bill of Rights, saying ideas bring people together, and the concept of freedom seems to be very effective in this effort. Aly Eichman, volunteering for Paul joins the podcasts to talk about Paul's impressive precinct organizing effort, which has netted the Senator as many as one thousand precinct chairs statewide. Remember the Iowa PRECINCT Caucuses? Will that kind of organizing make a difference? Then there's Donald Trump who made sure thousands of people had tickets to an event in an auditorium that accommodates somewhere around 750 to 800. Was it a brilliant move? Will it mean Trump will win Iowa? Standing in line for two hours with Iowans was an eye opener, as well as a hand and feet freezer. Many of the people waiting to see Trump don't plan to caucus for him. It seems they just want to see Trump, like they might come to see Justin Bieber. Here again, we'll see. The more time spent here, the more one concludes this really is rolling The Tumbling Dice. Sponsored by Ryan Plumbing and Heating of Saint Paul and X Government Cars!

This week, Thursday Night Thunder with host Adam Sinclair (@faborplumbs) and co-host Mykkal Mulalley (@Mykkal61) gaze into the future of auto racing with the drivers of Panoz Delta Wing, Katherine Legge and Sean Rayhall. Katherine Legge and Andy Meyrick return for a third year to compete for Panoz DeltaWing Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. They are joined by Georgia native Sean Rayhall who proved his driving prowess behind the wheel of the coupe at the recent IMSA Daytona Test.
Legge and Rayhall will campaign the full season with Meyrick joining for the endurance events.
The 2016 season looks set to be an exciting one for Panoz DeltaWing Racing. With the new name comes an impressive new livery reminiscent of the legendary Panoz ‘Spirit of America’ LMP1 Roadster S 14 years ago which continues to be a fan favorite to this day. This new livery represents Panoz continued focus as a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of exclusive luxury sports cars with a truly successful motorsports heritage.
Panoz DeltaWing Racing returns this year with one goal in mind: To consistently demonstrate the coupe’s competitiveness and be on the podium. The team enters 2016 following strong performances where they were up front and on-pace with the leaders in several of the late-season races including Lone Star Le Mans and Petit Le Mans.

Catrina Reese, with her angelic voice and musical talent, knew she was destined for the stage. At an early age her talent shone through with eagerness and validity at family events. She was introduced to the world of bright lights, studio recording, and professional singing when she began vocalizing back up for many groups at a young age. One experience, with Dorothy Norwood in 1988, opened up her magical gift of song even more. All these advantages led up to the formation of the musical group, New Generations in 1989. Under the direction of Gary and Belinda Jackson Ingram, the group became an opening act for Gospel’s legendary Shirley Caesar in Charlotte, NC.
Between the years of 2000-2004 she performed at many local events such as Pease Auditorium with Beverly Crawford and belted out the National Anthem at several sporting events such as the former Charlotte Hornets basketball game, CIAA tournament, Charlotte Knights pro baseball game, and Charlotte Checkers hockey game. She did not limit her talent to just sporting events, she also lended her voice to the Charlotte Choral Society and the Charlotte Singing Christmas tree. To round out 2004 she entered a 600-constestant talent audition for the “Gimme the Mike-Charlotte” sponsored by WSOC Channel 9 and won. This landed her the opportunity to open up for Yolanda Adams and Dettick Haddon at Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium.
