Tonight we'll cover the final two divisions in the NFL, the teams up north. In the NFC it's the Lions, Packers, Bears, and Vikings and over in the AFC it's the Steelers, Ravens, Bengals and Browns. Both divisions tend to run pretty close year in and year out. Will this year be any different? Will the Packers suffer with the unexpected Jordy Nelson loss? Will Adrian Peterson be the Peterson of old? Is Jay Cutler going to thrive under new OC Adam Gase? Can the Bengals win a playoff game? These are some of the bigger questions will tackle as well as dive into our two stories in the world of sports.
Feel free to call in or use the chat feature to join the conversation and ask us your questions.
We'll also preview next week's episode as well, which is going to be our first 1 hour show, with the main focus being on the Pats-Steelers opener and that Sunday's games.
Topics include teams from the NFC and AFC south divisions. Colts, Jags, Texans, and Titans in the AFC and Panthers, Falcons, Saints, and Bucs in the NFC.
The Houston Texans are this year's NFL team to be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks and the second episode will air this Tuesday night. Bill O'Brien made some interesting comments in the first few minutes of the season premire, so listen in to hear our thoughts on that as well.
We'll also probably talk a little more Tom Brady, the top two draft picks, and scratch the surface on our two top topics including Tiger's decision to go ahead and play in the Wyndham tournament this weekend and whatever other story graces the headlines over the week.
Tom Brady's suspension appeal is in federal court this week. We'll talk about that and the NFL teams out east. Pats, Bills, Jets, Phins in the AFC and Cowboys, Eagles, Giants and Skins in the NFC.
We'll also discuss some other tidbits going on in the world of sports including the Cunningham-Tarver fight, PGA Championship, and other NFL newsworthy stories including the broken jaw of Geno Smith
We'll also discuss upcoming shows and podcasts going into our 3rd week
Congrats to Jason Day on his first ever career major win!
Jason Day held of the red hot Jordan Spieth in the final round yesterday, but Spieth didn't leave completely empty handed as he propelled himself to the #1 ranked golfer in the world.
In last week's podcast I did say the Day would be a name to keep an eye on, and he finally pulled through to get that major win. I also thought Tiger probably would not get another one this weekend as well.
I'll touch base on it all, and then spend time to answer your questions on the tourney or questions regarding last night's show where we covered the NFC and AFC East as well as the Tom Brady saga.
Toniight's show will lead in with the Aldon Smith incident followed by all the NFL teams out west. Feell free to call into the show and talk about whatever else is on your mind going on in the world of sports. The PGA championship, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL are just some suggested topics. We are only taking 5 callers tonight, so if you can't get through, keep trying. We are also only going to field one Tom Brady call tonight due to a handful of our callers being Pats fans. Next week's show is planned as the Tom Brady lead in followed by the NFL teams out east.
Chad Coppenbarger joins the broadcast tonight to go one on on with Richard and will also field questions reguarding the MMA/Boxing world.
Chad has been actively involved in all aspects of MMA/Boxing, including a few fights. He does R&D for TiTLE Boxing, as well as assisting Steve Cunningham on his traing to help prepare him for his upcoming fight with Antonio Tarver this Friday night on Spike TV.
Cunningham, Coppenbarger, and Richard all served in the US Navy together on board the USS Enterprise, Cunningham dubbed the nickname USS Cunningham from his Navy days
Ever since the US Supreme Court muddled the waters of our sovereignty in the "Marshall Decisions", our Chahta Okla have remained politically unstable with outside influences upon our traditional form of self-governance. Even in recent years, the administration has been clouded of the Choctaw Nation has been clouded with corruption, election fraud/tampering, favoritism, and rewarding themselves enormously. Just before the election year, a former official, Jason Merida, was convicted of corruption and fraud, and sentenced to 12 years. The trial brought out testimony of widespread corruption, fraud and abuse of office. Efforts were underway to reform the constitution and election rules. Concurrently, Batton created a task force to provide election recommendations, which brought objections from citizens at the council meeting because it failed to resolve the problems.
Recently, an issue arose challenging Wards residency. Election rules require a candidate must have lived in the district one year prior to the filing for office (May 2015). Documents appeared in the social media of Facebook indicating he was a resident of District 1 one month prior to filing for office. An election hearing was called for August 19th after the opposing candiate, Mike Amos contested the validity of Wards qualification to run for office. They met at 10 AM and and said they would give their decision by written reply.
At the beginning of the election, three candidates were challenged on their residency. One survived the board, while the other two didn't. Alicia Nevaquaya would have been an opponent of Wards and Amos, as well as several others for the council seat. Questions have been raised about the boards thoroughness.
This evening I spoke with Mr. Ward about this issue and invited him to come on the show and tell us what he knows. He agreed to come on. I hope other guests versed on this subject do so as well.
Wanda DeHaven Pyle, a late-comer to the field of writing, grew up on a farm in the Flint Hills of Kansas. A frequent writer of stories as a child, she always thought that one day she would grow up to become a writer. Unfortuntely, life had a way of intervening in the best of her plans.
Wanda is descended from a long line of educators going back as far as anyone can remember. It seemed a natural course for her to take at a time when few careers were open to women. Thus, a career in education coincided nicely with marriage and children and allowed her the flexibility to be home when they were little while still pursuing her love of literature.
Retiring after 38 years as a teacher and administrator, Wanda decided to reinvent myself as an author and pursue a dream that had been deferred since childhood.

Host Cyrus Webb welcomes adventurer and author Ryan Pyle to #ConversationsLIVE to discuss what led him to travel the world and what his journey as chronicled in THE MIDDLE KINGDOM RIDE will do to inspire individuals on their own journey.
It's going to be a special show alright. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd Fame talks about his new band and future plans! Tonight we will discuss Vito Esposito's interview on WIBX 950AM. Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) labeled Radio Jihad Network a "Hate Group". Are they? Or is SPLC showing their intolerance of Free Speech? Is reading quotes from the Quran (Allah's word) and Reliance of the Traveler now considered Hate Speech? SPLC also failed to due their due diligence and lists RJN Network as being based in Little Falls, NY. So if SPLC is falsely reporting RJN location are they just being lazy in accusing RJN Network of "Hate Speech"? Imagine standing up for the US Constitution, the values of our Founders and being proud of our Republic is now considered Hate by radical left wing so-called progressive groups? Our Founders are turning in their graves!
We'll also discuss the desserter Bergdahl and Obama being called out for Dishonoring with prisoner swap for the Fab 5 Taliban Terrorists. Reports are 3 of the Fab 5 are trying to make their way back to the arena of War. Well as Gomer Pyle would say: Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
We'll broadcast from 6pm to 8pm EST on Blog Talk Radio
